Title: electrical problems
Post by: Mudneck on February 18, 2006, 09:23:11 PM
The manual is listed here BAJA motorsports 90:No info other than take to dealer for service.
http://www.bajamotorsports.net/ResourceCenter/ownersManuals.htm
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter for her to get into the sport from Pep Boys.

Problem,Cranks but wont start.I bought a spark tester to check &
Bike gets  very lite spark,I need to wiggle the heck out of the on/off switch to show a little spark through the tester.I bought a new ECU and no change said coil dont really go bad.It hasnt been wet either.Up & down dirt road & vacant lot mostly.

I have tried jumping the on/off with paper clip & even cut the wires & twisted them together to try & overide switch.I got  a good shock so switch is gettting power. Is there a way to remove factory swith & by pass?

Any constructive help or opinions would be apprecated.

I do own 2 real utes 700 4X4 05 prairies so please no crap for the generic bike!

I guess you could just get any real switch from a real bike, or just some switch from like an electrical parts supply place, and just mount it somewhere on the frame or handlebars.  Like you said, you could by pass the on/off switch, but you gotta have a way to turn it on and off.

Not sure.  I've never really had electrical problems on any of my bikes.  Hardly even know how it all works.
