Title: Valve adjustment on a Rincon Post by: MuddFreak77 on February 13, 2006, 03:48:38 PM Does anyone know how to adjust the intake and exhaust valves on a Honda Rincon?
I've heard these valves are real touchy to adjust. Thanks Carl Title: Re: Valve adjustment on a Rincon Post by: Nocturnal on February 14, 2006, 08:11:10 AM I have a service manual and it doesn't look too difficult. I've never done mine though. My dealer is reliable and ussually does it for free when the bike is in for other things. I don't have a scanner but, I'd be happy to burn you a copy of the manual for an 03 if you want. From what I hear the 03, 04, & 05 are the same. I have an 03 and a good friend has an 05 and I've been able to use my manual to work on his bike when needed. Are you ever in or around Venice? If not pm me with your address and I'll mail you a copy. It will probably take me a few weeks, if you don't mind waiting. Just let me know.

If its just like and old 327/350 then I should have no problems adjusting them. Guess I'll go back and re-read as Imight have been having a stuipd moment.
Again thanks for the offer. Just make sure the bike is aboslutely cold when you adjust them (let it sit overnight kind of thing). My freind had a Snap-On valve adjustment tool from his Honda race car, and it worked perfectly and quickly. Make sure you have a good set of feeler gauges as well.
