I would consider buying some acerage ,Belle glade, clewiston, somewhere it is still affordable.I am going to start researching vacant acerage out west of me Loxahatchee & south end lake. There has got to be an old sand mine, pasture land etc available for a reasonable price. If there were enough people interested w/$$ we could start a type of land co-op.Let me know who is in & what type $'s available.

We can't buy our own property unless you're ready to get sued by insurance companies when someone crashes their quad and breaks a collar bone or something. :( It just sucks, we need a state-owned riding area near here. Too bad corbitt only allows 60" long wheelbases. I'm going to be checking if the wheelbase on our TBX is good or not.

In the rules at corbitt you can't saddle anything :(
Motorcycle, horse, ATV.
I think there is a Bombardeir (sp?) that has a 60" wheelbase, so I think that is why they added that rule.
 :(

Correct about the saddle thing @ corbit.Have a neighbor bought one of those wheeled steering style Bombardeir & he cant go anymore.Onlly reason he bought it too!!!!!!!!

What is it like out there for a JEEP w/35 mud tread & posi front & back end?Is it too wet or trail rideable for that vehicle? How much are fee's?
Is the entrance off beeline?camoing available?

Thank's for info.......

Should be fine for the Jeep  ;)

Fees are 3.00 per person I think? It cost us $6.00 when we took the Jeep out.
We usually enter on Beeline and exit into the Acreage.

Damn, that sucks, we're about 5 mins from it. :( Takes us longer to load up the quads then to get there.

I know a few places in Florida that are legal and one of them is  called Peace River, Arcadia- its in northern Florida. I don't know how often that they do this but they will fill the mud pit with a 1000 gal. water tanks from the river 3 times. Its awesome. (http://)

if i were you i would be extremly careful in Corbett with any type of lifted Jeep or anything .... the last word i got from the K K Mudrunners is that FWC is being very very difficult with anyone that comes in with a mud truck ....

as for Mecca farms... Last thing I heard in the Town Crier for Loxahatchee was that the PBC Board of Commissioners was actually considering an ATV Type Theme Park... Only one of the many proposals put up for the property....

palm bch county has holeyland!!!

LOL! Sorry but that is a joke of a riding area.

Fact is the area is just too over crowded you are better off looking for riding areas outside of the county...mainly to the north.
