There are 2 FORD boddies on it in the pics. If you look close you can see the clear F150 body under the F350 which hasn't been cut out yet.

THERE IS NOTHING COOLER THAN A FORD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love my savage, but be careful. I have spent way more on it than I paid for it. But it's a lot stronger now. The first mod you need if it's not done already, is to add extra gears to the diff's, you need the 4 gear diff. setup. I blew the gears out pretty fast and had to replace everything, front and rear.

Thats because you cannot keep them running. Buy a Chevy and the hood will always be warm because you will want to drive it all the time. LOL

u sure thats 28cc??? cuz the engine looks way to small to be 28cc, 28cc is about the size of a weed whacker motor :-\

You do the research & look up a Savage SS 4.6 big block kit & tell me what motor is in it.

new 4.6cc (.28cubic inch) engine that pumps out 2.9 horsepower

yea its 4.6cc actualy, but 3 hp is prety impressive for such a small engine!!!

i mean im sure its considered a big engine for rc cars but u no what i mean

Yeah, that 4.6 is a nice engine and really strong. My RC quad has the 2.8 in it and that thing wheelies w/ no problem. They are very addictive but are high maintnance toys as well. Get ready to stack up on parts Steve b/c all kinds of things go bad on these babies. That truck looks sweet but being that your a quad guy, I think you'll end up transforming it to one of these...

Yes I already saw that on ebay & was very tempted to order it last night. I was thinking about getting it & painting it just like my 450 but not putting the guy on it.

As you can see, that's what I did to mine (lol). Also put those red springs on her as well. I upgraded to the 3 speed tranny and it made a nice difference. Made my gearing taller for more top end (18 tooth spur). I went away from those plastic gears and run the steel ones. I love mine and whenever I get bored... Zip... Zip.... Zip!!!

Yea I have the 3 speed & I also have the taller gear for more speed. You know I can't ride or drive anything slow.

Are the three speed tranys worth the price? I remember when they first came out, they were going for $200 on ebay, sometimes more.

They are only 90.00.

The 3 speed tranny was going for $200? Man that's crazy! Well now they're only $65 for the built and $45 for the unbuilt. And yeah... it's definitely worth it. Sounds sweet to hear that thing go through three gears.
