Title: Raptor 350 problems Post by: yamaha350r on February 08, 2006, 06:18:19 PM i have a 06 Raptor 350 and i have 2 problems... 1. is the revers locks in like it is sposed to in nuetral but when i go to take it out of revers it doesnt want to come out.... unless i pop it into first gear which i dont think it should be like that,,
2. this 1 is more recent.... i go to put it in neutral and it doesnt want to go into neutral.... some times it works if i turn it off thank for any help anyone tells me Title: Re: Raptor 350 problems Post by: 53yfz450 on February 08, 2006, 08:30:11 PM all bikes are hard to get into neutral. when you pulling the lever back to put it back in gear try letting out the clutch alittle.

It shouldn't be hard getting it into neutral. It sounds like his clutch is out of adjustment. Look in your owners manual and check that your fee play on your clutch lever is set properly. Title: Re: Raptor 350 problems Post by: ppark350se on February 09, 2006, 12:15:52 AM no all raptor 350s are hard to get into neutral when hot. mine was really hard to do i started useing a syntechic blend oil and that helped alot. you can also make an oil cooler kit. I have every thing except a hose clamp or two. it cost me like $150 sell it for $75. heres some pics.
