Title: Property in ONF Post by: Chillinthemost on March 02, 2005, 06:51:35 PM Anyone else on the site own property in or near the forest? I'm closing on some next Fri. I have been looking for a year now for some place to camp or stay that had elect. hookups and had direct access to the forest. The choices are slim. Elite is nice but you must trailer bikes out, Mill damn is ok but access is a ways down the road and I dont let my kids ride on the shoulder of the road. Big scrub and Delancy leave a lot to be desired. So I am buying a place, I will probably let members from this site rent it very reasonably. There are 2 "houses" on the property it will be set up to sleep 2 families of 4 or 5. I plan on spending a lot of time there during spring break, It wont be ready for anyone to stay but if you are up there and would like to check it out let me know.

I just closed on Friday 2/25/05 on a place in the ONF. I have the same idea of renting the place to riders. My place is in the NW corner. Where is yours ? My wife has been yard sale shopping to "decorate" so I have a bunch of stuff to move up. My place is in the NW side of the forest between Eureka damn and hog valley. There is a bar within walking distance. Everyone that I've met from this site has been good peeps out to have fun. Thats why I am willing to share it with other families.

I am pulling a popup because my place is rough. It's an old mobile home. I bought it because it has newer electric service, well and septic. Thats big $$$ to put in up there. I am in Hog Valley on 1st street. Will you be there this friday ? I just sold my ride to a guy who told me about this site (meathead I think). I have an old 250sx 3 wheeler that I am going to use until I get something better
