 Another ADULT'S ONLY WEEKEND!!  "MUDDY GRA" is the theme so,
We will have competition with decorated rides for the MUDDY GRA parade as well as Muddy Gra costumes, lots of fun games  and activities to

Friday night we have a NASHVILLE CLASSIC COUNTRY SHOW featuring...
RUSS HICKS & CHARLIE McCOY "THE REAL McCOY".  Saturday night we will have CHARLIE SOUZA and THE NEW TROPICS!  Both nights will be great shows you don't want to miss! Sunday we will have the L-CROSS COUNTRY RUN CHALLENGE as well as mudding and trail riding!!

is there trail riding sat and sat nite also?  What is the camping situation like? Showers?  food situation?BBQ allowed?  motel nearby?? I have never been there so a few more "living" details would be appreciated.

 Yes there will be trail riding on Saturday. Saturday night you can ride but not on the trails, we don't want you to get lost!

 Yes there are showers, but they are cold! We have a nice swimming hole but it will probably be cold too!

We have A CLASSIC COUNTRY SHOW for FRIDAY NIGHT AND A CLASSIC ROCK GROUP FOR SATURDAY NIGHT!!!

Saturday in the day we have lots of fun games to play and win prizes and cash!
The theme for the event is "MUDDY GRA'S" so decorate your ride for the parade as well as costume contest for the MARDI GRA'S theme!

I just finished the addition of the shopping cart to the site. I had school board meetings till 9:30. But it has not popped up on the site yet. I think administration has to put it on the page. So I guess it will be there in the morning  when they open.9-5 don't they know I want to see i NOW!!!

But, to answer your question, yes on site I hope in the Morning but for sure tomarrow some time. I'll stay with it till it's working!!!

I'd love to say that I'll be there but w/o anything for the women to see I'll be attending the regular events instead.

There are plenty of men in this sport and most of them complain that there are not enough women involved or at most events.  Naked women don't attract most women.  Now a wet boxer brief contest or something of the sorts, say like Chippendales, and the women will come.

Any club I've been to that has had the Chippendale's, the place is packed w/ women!  So guys if you want more women at these events ask to do more events where the women have more scenery not just other women.

Find ways to attract the women or continue complaining about dude fests.  See y'all at one of the regular events.

There have been plenty of ladies at these events. You complain that Men will not show you anything and you have been told many times to show yours and we would show ours. You have been plenty times and never showed anything, not even a top section. All I can say is stop complaining until you start participating.

That is absolutely right lets turn it into a weenie festival so that away guys and girls won’t go. You are the only one that has the same song and dance.  It is always over and over. I wanna see weenie I wanna see weeinie. For the love of christ do what yunt said stop complaining and start participating.. And for the record “ALLOT” of women appreciate the amount of guys that are out there. “oh he is cute” and “wow look at his body“ . There is plenty of eye candy for the ladies. It’s just chicks like you making it sound like a big freekin orgy. Cmon ladie find something else to Biotch about…. It is like every time the guys get an adult thing goin you start throwing up weenie blocks. We are guys. Guys wanna be guys. Women like you just want to make us walk around with trash bags over our head and you are the only one that can give us permission to breathe. Qt let it go. Yes that is because you  see them at your local strip joint. A ladies/womens club is filled with women watching  men. That is usually the concept behind that.  ;)

Thanks Patty.  Sounds like a good time.  I'm sure you hate having to find the right revue.   ;) .  I've gotten PM's and IM's from alot of the women that go out there that were hoping for something like this to happen.  They have just been quiet about it.

I'm almost 50 years old and I've only been to 1 in my life and that was with my bowling team right here in Okeechobee. So I never even thought of such a thing . Now that it has been brought to my attention, I wonder
why we did not do it from the beginning. It just makes sense to do some-

Patti posted a thread asking what everyone would like to see out there. All everyone needs to do is ask. Its been about almost 14 years, it was the 1992 Calendar guys, they were hot. My friends and i took my cousin on her 18th birthday, to DJ Chaps in Gainesville(closed know). But it was VERY FUN, I had just had my son that July.We went in December.

after all the banter, I forgot to ask if it is pay in advance or at the door- we are up to 8 guys/bikes already and I never thought of asking that question. We plan on arriving sat am sometime from pinellas county 8)

You can pay at the gate for this event. Right now I'm only offering David Allan Coe tickets in advance or the annual pass on the web site. I have up
to 50 items we can offer on the site and will try to offer all events there, in the future. We are in a growing stage right now. Check in the future, I know it will be a good thing for some to be able to put it on their credit cards.

I'm so there !  It'll be my first event of many more to come.  Hope to make many friends out there.  What should I bring besides me and my quad so I'm not without ? 

You are pretty much camping so come very prepared as if you where going to go camping. The food vendor is all right but she does have a very limited supply of food so bring your food. Bring your T.P as for porta pot’s run out. Bring some water if you want to shower. (It is strongly recommended.) Bring bug spray. You will need it. It is the everglades. Bring plenty of gas for riding. Bring water incase you should get dehydrated….People do get over heated out at these events. First aid kit because you will cut bruise or otherwise hurt yourself if you don’t bring one. Gotta bring a tent. And be aware there allot of fires that burn at night so be sure your tent has some flame retardant capabilities.

Highway 78 travel's east and west . We are on the North side of Lake
Okeechobee. I guess when you are driving East on 78 you are going a little North as well, so Northwest of Lakeport 12 miles!!

when is sign up for trail ride sat? i want to test my new mud bugs??

We usually try to do 2, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I think this Saturday they will have one in the morning around 10:00 but check with mudmaster "STEVE" to see because most everyone will be playing games in the concert area from noon till at least 4:00 WET-T-SHIRT contest!
We will be having the parade and costume contest at that time as well.

I'd like to promise to go, but I've been invited two other places(riding and not) this same weekend with a poker party at my house on Sunday, also my new ute is not exactly reliable yet due to electrical problems, so a night ride would be absolutely out of the question for me,,,,,and that would be the reason I'd like to go.

my other half just had a baby...I don't think i'd be allowed to go quite yet :)

I won't be able to make it after all  :'(   JUst found out today that my county is having their Special Olympics event, and I volunteer as the first aid person.  But it's for a very good cause and should be very rewarding.  I'll have to catch the next event.  Y'all have fun !

Bugman, she had posted that the american sweethearts don't do outside events, but thats ok because they always have a wet-t-shirt contest with contestants that show up to ride. You will not be disappointed.

Friday gates open 9:00am set up camp ride whatever. Friday night 8:00pm CLASSIC COUNTRY SHOW they will play till Midnight. Saturday morning
group ride I think at 10:00. mud ride on your own. NOON come to the concert area for fun and games. 4:00 WET-T-SHIRT contest!! 4:30-5:30
Mardi Gra Parade with your buggies and atv's also the Mardi Gra Costume contest. 6:00pm American Hunks Male revue for THE LADIE'S ONLY!!
8:00pm Charlie SOUZA and THE NEW TROPICS until Midnight! After that you are on your own! Saturday trail ride in the morning and possibly L-CROSS COUNTRY RUN in the afternoon!!

The list keeps getting larger, I will be leaving home around 12:30pm  Friday. Should be there around 6pm

OK people, Mark has mowed a spot for us and is gonna let us stay in a spot that has never been camped in before. We need to take care of this spot and not tear it up. We need to try and keep the RVs lined up the best as possible. This is a very large group and we all need to acknowledge each other and not let the small stuff bother us. I'm sure there will be some loud generators and other stuff that will be going on almost all night. This is primitive camping, its not your home. Put up with some stuff please. Lets have a good time and enjoy each others company. I know after some of you start drinking you act like kids again but remember that we need to be adults and act like adults. Lets all have a good time.

Hi everyone
Since patti has all these events planned for saturday i will be doing the trail rides an hour early this saturday morning at 10 am so that we will have time to get back for all the festivities she has planned. It looks like the first ride will be a really big one!!! so lets make sure everyone is ready on time at the back gate so we can get back in time, Maybe we will break the record for most bikes on the ride? the current record is 64 bikes. I have not been out back since last month so i know the mud has gotten thicker due to no rain.
I can't wait to see you all again, and i look forward to meeting all the new people that have not been on the trail rides before.
Its going to be a great weekend again as far as the weater and I can't wait to hit the mud!!!!!!

Thanks for ripping my heart out Patti!!!  I'm only working a 1/2 day but already feel like I've been here for 12hrs!  2 1/2 more hrs till I'm Out of here and on my way to the MUD!!!  All packed up and hauler is loaded and sitting behind my truck in the parking lot as I type.   :) :)

Sorry, we will only have 1 trail ride on Saturday due to the games in the concert area! You can ride on your own though if you don't want to par-
ticipate in the games or competitions!

There will be another trail ride on Sunday  and maybe the L-CROSS COUNTRY CHALLENGE AS WELL!

HEADS UP FOR ANY ONE COMMING FROM THE SOUTH UP HIGHWAY 27 through Clewiston and Moore Haven!!!!!  There is a big rodeo in Moore Haven tonight and tomorrow night and the POLICE are out in force with radar for speeding and checking for DUI'S so be careful when you go through these towns this weekend!!! You don't want a ticket, for sure!!

It's official, can't make it. Too many other obligations. I did just purchase my advance tickets for D.A.C. and have the time off secured.

i know i prob overlooked it so sorry for repeatiung the question but what does l-cross cost per day anymore?ive been to the website and im to anxious i know i overlooked it somewheres....

The gate fee for 3 days and 2 nights is only $30.00 for adults and $5.00 for children 12yrs and under! That includes all concerts and camping. If you only come on Sunday it is $15.00.

 :) It's not too late to come and have fun with us this weekend! The games start at noon on Saturday WET -T- SHIRT contest at 4:00pm and all male revue at 6:00pm for the ladies!! The New TROPICS at 8:00pm.  The park is really ROCKIN TONIGHT I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings!!!

So many people to thank! 

First I have got to thank Patty and Mark Pierce.  Not only did I have the best birthday party ever, I had an absolute blast this weekend.  I also need to thank y'all and the L-cross staff for helping me out with my truck arrangements.

Brett, Mudfreak, Manny and friends (BBF's friend), the guys on the John Deer's thanks for helping me get my truck out of the hole and for the coffee to warm up after spending 4-5 hours up to my waist in mud and water (w/ the late night mockasons and what ever else was in that water).

My friends Mike and Nocturnal thanks for hanging around and making sure things were ok and offering to follow me back home if my truck was running.

Brett thanks for running to the store for all the parts and fronting me the money.  Mudfreak thanks for the hot shower and hauler to sleep in.  Not to mention thanks again freak for driving me home and helping me do all the transmission fluid changes.

And to all the others that made this the best weekend.  Garym and his friends for keeping me in stitches laughing my butt off.  Y'all are a blast and I want to hang w/ you guys again.

This was an awsome weekend. It was our 1st, but definately not our last l - cross event.

Forgot about the Sunkist mix.  Um yeah that stuff was good. 

Transmission will likely have to be rebuilt as well as a few other things checked out.  Not sure yet but should have more details on the truck by tomorrow.  They are hoping to have it done by this weekend but I seriously doubt it.  Looking into the cost of detailing to get the inside carpets cleaned of the mud and funk.

Mike and Nocturnal-glad y'all had a good time and will be coming out again!

Lesson learned - NO WHEELIN THE DAILY DRIVER!  Finally got it this time.  Thanks for all the advice.  This weekend was called Brokeback Mountain for me for a reason.  Or should I call it broke wallet weekend.

Either way I had a blast w/ the whole crew out there and can't wait to hang w/ y'all again soon.

ha, that was you all with the megaphone??? I was the big ford across the way taht broke down saturday night.  Turns out the 4wd was in neutral and thats why the truck wouldn't shift.  Still couldn't get my front driveshaft to fit wtih a blown tranny mount (transfer case fell a few inches) so I ended up not muddin the truck at all but my lil eiger did well :)  only got stuck once and i wasn't even drivin it.

sorry i couldnt camp with you guys. i had friends with trucks and they get out of control so i figured id stay away. i was the guy in the black rincon with 28'' mud bugs that you kept yellin to see my wify's "perky's...lol i tried but she wasnt drunk enough maybe..lol ill see yall at D.A.C...have fun be safe....

ya, then i towed it with my big ol diesel :)  That was my fourwheeler too...i had ALLL my toys out there!!  Truck, tow rig, fourwheeler....and then when i got back home, i showered, hopped in my NSX and blasted down 27 doing 140mph....what a life eh?

So ya, the truck got fixed today...we put new motor mounts/tranny mount, got specs for a new drive shaft and rewired some necessities...life is good :)
