Title: Bolt patterns?
Post by: Southern_Pride on February 01, 2006, 06:58:59 PM
Anybody know em for any of the big 4x4 machines with 12 inch wheels?
I'm gonna try to put 28's on my blaster when I get it going again. I dont ride it fast and there's lots of mud around here, so why not try it.

I don`t know of the bolt patterns for sure, But you might be wasting your time, & money. 28`s are gonna be alot for a blaster to handle !!!!!

the blaster has its own bolt pattern not like the rest of the yamaha it has a 4/100 rear bolt pattern  im almost positive nothing else has this pattern you would have to change your rear hubs to get  what you are looking for and your gearng drastically

Ill have to look into the hubs. Didnt know that. I know the gearing would have to be changed. But as it is now it will pick the front end up in every gear with 22 inch tires on the back. But the rest of yamaha has a 4/100 pattern? Maybe I can  switch the hubs off something else on. Is the front of the blaster 4/100 or some oddball thing as well.

the rest of the yamahas have a 4/115 on the rear and 4/156 up front  the blaster also has 4/156 on the front

Why not put it in the forsale section and try to trade for a utility. You will be better off in the long run.

Dont really want a utility. That and this thing is pretty freakin ragged. Barely worth 500 bux and its an 89. Plus a blaster is light as crap. Utility are heavy. I'm hoping this will float with me on it.

I have seen a Raptor w/ 28 outlaws on the rear. But it had a sprocket that had to be 18" in dia. But it would spin the heck out of those tires.

If you want to figure out any 4 bolt pattern, just measure across the center of the rim to the wheel stud centers. Take that measurement in inches & multiply it by 25.8mm. This answer will usually be within 2 mm, usually rounding up. Example: a 4/110 bolt pattern measures 4.25 inches across center rim to stud centers, 4.25in x 25.8mm= 109.65mm, hence 4/110(4 bolt/110mm). I think 3 bolt patterns are a bit different, not sure.
