I recently cracked my LCD screen on my Samsung slide-phone and wanted to fix it and went to the Cell Phone Repair (CPR) and get a quote on how much it would cost.  They said $100 I said ok...It had to be shipped from CA and waited 1 Week.  Then I stoped by their store today and wondered it had to come by now.  I had already paid for it over the phone.  So they were giving me crap about we dont take payments over the phone.  So they wanted to charge me again cuz they think it was a mistake.  So my dad started yelling and screaming left the store and gave them the Bird.  I called up VISA and said the charge for $100 went through them.  So I cancled the payment and call them back up and told them every name in the book.  Now im wondering if I should call the POLICE or not :-\  Anyways STAY AWAY from Cell-Phone-Repair or CPR......

P.S.  Dont go near them they WILL try to RIP-U-OF one way or another.

Eh best bet so you can still talk to honda250ex besides on here, get a piece of string, put a hole through the bottom of 2 plastic cups. Put both on the string and tie a knot on each side of the string. String it from your room to his and now talk.

Also, i have broken 2 or 3 phones, lost count, in the past 7-8 monthes all because of the broken screen. I was told they cant fix broken screens.

that $hit right there is funny....wish i owned CPR now....hey, if you ship it to me I can fix it in 4 days, and it will only cost you $90.00.  let me know.  I take visa.

they can replace lcd screens. and I don't think the police can do anything. just be glad you didnt lose any money and move on.

Yea that's what my dad said...We didnt have anything to prove that we gave the money except for the credit card but O well..... >:(

dont care who you are, but I don't understand the reasoning for kids having cell phones.

unless you can sign the contract and pay for the bill youreself without parent's help,,,,,then I don't see the need for them.

oh,,,,and be glad you aint out any money on the deal and move on....like said before.

well, i am not sure about other companies but nextel service centers will replace them on nextels. i am sure other companies have an inhouse facility to do it. either call your cell company or go to their website and find out.

I called tmobile, they said 100 bucks to replace it. Should i also try contacting motorola?

10-4 PM your address. The phone still works but its the screen on the outside and the screen on the inside. Half the outside screen works but the inside is shattered.

i'm 17 and i have a cell phone for 3 reasons.

1. work(comes in handy while dilvering pizzas)
2. Electronic baby sitter
3. so I dont tie up the home phone.

Thats exactly the way my dad thinks. I believe parents have only one good reason to give their kids cell phones and that is to know where their kids are and if they are safe. Thats the only reason I see fit for a parent to buy a kid a cell phone.. I see kids that have had their parents buy them the most avanced cell phones with steaming video and all that and they really dont need that crap. I could see owning one with all the extras on it if you paid for it yourself but I dont think parents should buy their kids phones like that. I had a crappy Boost Mobile i205 phone, it was a pay as you go, but it got the job done and I paid for it.

No Joke my 13 year old Daughter wants one , I told her to get a job..LOL

My son is 8 years old. He as an i870 that he takes to school (set on vibrate). I can track him all day long. I know went his in class or playing at PE from any PC. www.telenavtrack.com

That is awesome.....how close can you get to  observe the positioning?

The phone uses GPS for positioning. clear day 10 to 15 feet on bad day 85 to 100 ft
