It's completely restored with only stock parts. You never finda 250r's stock anymore.

It's takes an extremely modded up one, like top of the line MX, to be valued like that stock 250R is.

I used to put those together back in the day from the crate. Test rides were very exciting. Major deja-voo.  Look's nice!

The kit consists of a new Honda frame gusseted and powder coated black. A new, complete 2001 Honda CR250 engine with a Built forward kick starter, a new high performance nickel plated exhaust, complete intake including carb and airbox, and complete cooling system including radiator.

Thats from a dirtbike.

Damn nice looking quad.  Wink

If I had a choice between stock and mod. I would buy the mod bike. Dosnt matter if it was the old 250r's or new 450r's

i know this is a old subject but i would give anything to place my hands on that bike. i do not like quads but that one has got my respect. and to the guy that said "stock is worth more than mOd?" HELL YEAH... what would you rathe have a bike that some punk brought home and tried to be a pro mx racer so he bent the frame, busted the bottom out of the shocks, bent the axel, and fixed it with his $20 a week allowance or a freaking work of art like this...

I here what your saying, but I would rather have a tricked out one AND a stock restored 250R to not ride and sell ofr good $$$ later on.  Actually I would probably have a urge to ride it  Grin

if i had that bike it would sit in the livin room and not be cranked up. that is a collector. you go buy a tricked out one to ride around. i want a restored one and a racin modified one.

If that was my bike, I wouldn't be able to resist riding it once in a while.....

That same bike was in the letters section of dirtwheels Pg.50 April 2006 issue....

So clean and pristine, but quads are mean't to be riden. Wink

But now he has something one of a kind!  That's like saying, what's the point of restoring a '69 Camaro when you can easily go buy a brand new Corvette with all the money you'd spend?  You're not looking for a daily driver, you're trying to have something that like stands out.
