Good call vista, The 27th is a Friday not a Thursday. Friday nights are harder for me also. Why don't we make it Thursday the 26th at 7 pm?

I'm in.  The Cracker barrel is on S.R. 64 in Bradenton.  It is just over the Manatee river/Ellenton outlet mall exit which would be for HWY 301. It is the next exit.  Cracker Barrel can be seen from the interstate just before the exit.

See you all there!

I have an idea!

Let's have our first meeting Saturday 2-28-04 1200 noon at Croom. We could meet in the picnic area of Day use area #2. Lots of parking there. We can meet for an hour and talk and eat lunch. Real informal... We can elect some officers so we can really get this started.

It's a Saturday so there shouldn't be scheduling problems like there are during the week. We can get some riding in and kick this off the right way.

I will set up the outline for what needs to be covered in our first meeting and we will set the date THEN for our next meeting. I will have time to talk to the sponsor I have in mind so maybe we can meet there for our second meeting.

Some things to think about for the first meeting.

1. Name for the club
2. What YOU can offer the club. Would you be willing to be an officer? Would you be willing to head a committee such as a Ride Planning Committee, Public Relations Committee, Etc.?
Do you have a special talent or resource such as being a lawyer (we will need to set up a non-profit corporation)?

Sorry to have been so quiet but I had the flu or whatever it is and it put me in bed for about a week.

Who wants to meet at Croom? If we get at least 15 people we can get started!

Please respond.

Thanks

We already said Thursday the 26 at Cracker barrel  Huh . I like to go to croom to ride with the kids and I do not think it is the proper place.

I vote to stick with the 26th.

The Cracker barrel is on S.R. 64 in Bradenton.  It is just over the Manatee river/Ellenton outlet mall exit which would be for HWY 301. It is the next exit.  Cracker Barrel can be seen from the interstate just before the exit.

I will be their at 7 PM [/glow] [/size]

Seein as mainetoo is the kinda brains behind this and has the bylaws we probly should set a time when he and others can be there.
Everybody seems to have really conflicting schedules, maybe a sunday might work for everybody Huh I know its ridin weather,  but if we really want to get this thing goin we should make alittle better effort? Im just as guilty!
Next Sun is the 29th. Does that work or no?

OK Folks!

We have a sponsor for our ATV club. Suzuki of Sarasota has opened its doors to us. We may have our meetings there whenever we want.

They are at 4583 Clark Road wich is a couple miles west of I-75. Great location. Directions are at www.classiccycle.net

Tomorrow I will set a date for our first meeting.

Time to get this rolling!

Heres the scoop!

Sarasota Cycles wants us to have our first meeting at Noon on Saturday the 20th. They are going to set us up with tables and chairs. But it gets better. They are going to put on a BBQ for us too!

I will bring several copies of the by-laws because we need more than one set of eyes to look at them.

We will hold nominations and elections for officers. We will name a couple of committees and ask for people to help.

See you all then!

This sounds great.  Frank Vespa is a good friend, and also offers a great service to the atv/motorcycle community. I
will be there and I will bring some fellow atvers. By the way, they make a awsome burger.
