by looking at the map I would say take 27 north to 441 near Leesburg and make a right onto 441 heading east until you get to hwy 19 north (on your left). Head north on hwy 19 until you pass the small town of Altoona and then see the Ocala National Forest sign. About another 5-10 minutes up the road you should see a brown sign that says "Big Scrub" turn left right after the sign onto forest rd 573. Its 7 miles down that road to the campground.

Hey bro,
take 46 west over the Wekiva River past Mt Plymouth and make a right onto 437 heading north and go up to 44 and make a left. 44 should take you west all the way to 19. Head North on 19 for a ways until you pass Altoona and enter the Forest seeing the "Welcome To The Ocala National Forest" sign. The sign for Big Scrub is a few minutes (maybe 10) down the Rd from that on the right. It's a small brown sign.

I rode there last weekend. Parked where the pipeline crosses 588. I just stayed near the main trails and slowed down when I did see hunters. I wave and some wave back but most don't. Either way I don't care. I got there about noon so maybe many of the hunters were done for the day? I plan to go back before the season is over.
