If you want a brand new bike in 07 you wont have to make that choice. There will not be any 2 strokes after 06. 4 years ago this was an easy answer but there are some awsome 4 strokers out now and they will get better every year.

CC for CC 2 strokes are faster. 4 strokes are more reliable.

If you want to hual @ss get a 2 stroke. If you want to get the most life out of your engine get a 4 stroke. 2 stroke gives you the best Top End. Some 4 strokes depend whether they'll give you Low End,Mid Range, Or Top End. So a 4 stroke has a range of power bands.

your asking ppl for an opinion, everyones opinion is gonna be diff depending on what they ride. the best way to find out is to get a couple of freinds one with a 2 stroke and one with a 4 stroke ride them both and make up your own mind.
now if you want my opinion i ride a banshee thats all i need to say.

You're retarded aren't you? If one were to take all of your posts, string them together and publish them, they could sell millions and call the book "Senseless Gibberish from an Uninformed Mind Coupled with an Unrestrained Mouth". I mean, you attempting to give an educated opinion on anything slightly more mechanical in nature than the handle on the toilet is like a fat guy trying to instruct a pole-vaulting class.

LMAO, I'd pay to see a fat guy TRY to pole vault. But I think the best person to talk about poles is Quad32x. He's good with poles. But back to the original question, it's preference. The last 2 vs 4 stroke debate wore me out. Ride what you like and hope you don't get out ran by the other. -Mark

I've ridden two strokes and four strokes. A lot of people seem to like fours, why , I do not know. Maybe they're just wanting to look kewl on big quads, maybe they like riding heavy on trails. I like the acceleration of a two stroke cause it stays flat, while a four wants to torque and hop like a horse trying to buck me off. I find it a bit scary when in trees when I throttle it and it lifts the front tires off the ground and I can't steer. I might have the opportunity to get a four at a discount price. But I'm seriously thinking about sticking to a two stroke. Maybe I'll get a Banshee!! Preferance is how you like to ride, either way, it can be fun if you want to learn.

Until your fourstrokes blow up it might be fun, but waight till it drops a valve, gouge the cylinder wall, destroy the head and drop the timeing chain all in one and you could of built a 2 stroke 6 times
