Glad y'all approve.  I love it so far.  Haven't filled the first tank up though.  Much better than the SUV!  And no I will not be off-roading it in North Port.  Although Muddbuggy is insisting that I take it mudding once...  I'm thinking NOT!

I do like Fords.  Just couldn't find one that could compete w/ the mileage, year, and price of this one.  Also, you can't see in the pic but it looks lifted.  It's not really just looks like it.  Sounds nicer than any of the Fords too.  Ok, other than a diesel.

Congrats QT. Loooks nice. I had a 99 quad cab a few years ago. Is yours the 318 or 360?
Speaking of filling it up yet, Thats the part that stinks about Dodge. They get TERRIBLE gas mileage. Other than that you will love it.

Just letting you know, my dad had an 01 Ram 1500 5.9L V8, 4x4 off road as well. He's 60 years old, drives like a normal person. Never Pulled a trailer with it. Heaviest thing that it pulled was my quad in the back. The tranny went at 70k miles.

Qt, nice truck, even if it doesn't have a Z-71 on the back.  Grin

You don't have to go to North Port to get that truck muddy, just take it out to RR and make a trip to the camp I share.

Amen ... our company had over 2000 of them,  when i got my durango i asked how many of the trucks ate their tranny's he said almost all did it before 80k, since we startyed getting the new ones with the 4.7/5spd auto, we have been getting 50k more miles and 0 tranny issues.

pretty truck but good luck

Thanks for all the kind words.  I do know it's a Dodge.  I was apprehensive about the transmission issues.  Nice thing is I have a friend that is good w/ them and knows alot about Dodge.  So should that ever happen I'll hopefully be hooked up.

Thank god it's American!  Been dying to get back into an American car/truck, anything.  Wanted Ford couldn't afford one, second choice Chevy, couldn't afford one of those either.  So this was the best bang for the buck.  I just hope it was the right choice.

I did get then bigger engine so now I can say I have a set of balls!  Even better, I love the looks on the guys faces when I drive it.  Some how it seems to turn alot of heads.  And they are good looking guys.

Mom's already made comments about when I'm going to get the bigger tires for it.  Got to love that!  Can't wait to head out to RR again.  Hell for that matter can't wait to get out and ride again.  Unfortunately, due to payments my riding is going to be limited for quite some time.

So if any of you live near Sarasota and know someone who's looking for or needs a Chiropractor....SEND THEM TO MY OFFICE!  Will work to ride!
