That means it's an auto clutch but you have to shift with your foot still.

Remeber if your gonna be mixing it your gonna be fixing it Cheesy

I just thought of that, Do I get cool points?

I think you mean "It aint fast without mixed gas"  Grin

IMO getting a 6k quad as a first quad is not a wise idea. First quads are that for a reason. While learning on it your bound to have an accident. Unless you can get a quad fairly cheap I would get something else. When you first get your drivers license you don't go out and get a v8 for your first car. Well normally you shouldn't.

Donnie- Is there a certain type of quad you like? Or I should ask what type of riding are you wanting to do? Bigger doesn't always mean better in quads. My 500 is crazy fast but in the trails my 250 walks away from it simply because it's smaller and more agile.   -Mark

Thanks for the advice old-school. I am looking at riding trails, speed is not a factor for me. my baby bro and two other guys i am going to be riding with have the raptors or getting one. I am looking strongly at the pairie 360 4x4 or the Bruin 350 Auto. 4x4. I am not one to follow the pack if you know what i mean. my bro and i are rookies but my other two buddies have been riding for a bit. they love speed!!! I don't need it. I love it also but it's not what i am all about at least while i am a "rookie" I am also looking for something big and stable I am 6-1 265 and my future riding buddies are smaller types. I am also the only married guy and my wife has final say. Smiley we both agree on all of the utility bikes but she does not feel a sports bike is a good 1st bike for me. I am open to both. just ready to get my feet wet. any advice? thanks....

My dad had a Raptor 660. You could handle it, it actually seemed a lot slower than what I was expecting. Feels majorly pluged up. With new exhaust I bet that it could breath some fire. Also handling made me weary but hey I don't got no technique on quads.
