I was just there on Sunday and I saw quite a few people riding double.

Plus, I've yet to see anyone patrolling the riding area on quads. They pretty much stick to the front area, the roads, and the parking lots.

I got a flyer on Croom and it says I have to bring my title or registration to purchase a tag to ride there.

Do I have to buy it at Croom or is there other places in the state I can purchase one from?

Do I need this tag to ride at any other state areas? If so, where are they?

Thank you, Teej

That is not what they told me at Croom. He said I had to have in hand either the title or a registration.

I have my title, I just don't want to have to drive all that way with it. I'd rather register it or buy a tag for it somewhere closer to home. I am in N. FL. Is there any other place to purchase these tags? Tax office or any other state parks?

The only place to buy the tags is at the front gate of croom.

no dude, it needs to be registered. Basically they want to know you paid tax. About double riding, they will say something. If you really want to bring your daughter I can give you ocala directions, they really dont care what you do up there.

Why would you go to croom with all those nice places in north florida?

I live in S. Florida. I know where Ocala is and visit often.

I have been riding croom for 30 years on and off. I have kids also. I have never had a problem or had anything said to me for for riding double with my kids or my wife. Just as long as helmets are worn you should encounter no problems. As for the title or registration that is due to the ever increasing number of low lifes who want to steal other peoples atv's and go to croom and ride them. This makes it much harder for them to do so now. Dont show up with vin# that wont work anymore.  The registration is all you will need along with ID. The permitt will be pro rated because they expire in June of every year. So it will probably cost about 35.00  to 40.00 dollars. Hope this helps..
