second-i think i just need to adjust my carrier-but cant because of the bolt-there is a clicking noise in my chain pretty loud and harsh when im under 5 mph in 1st gear....does this have to do with the crank case and what exactly is the crank case
thanks alot

WD-40 always has worked well for me over the years, but I think there are other corrosion/penetrating sprays out on the market too. Soak it well and let it sit before trying to remove it.
If you can get at the outer circumferance of the bolt, use a locking plier (vice-grips) to get a lock on it and slowly work it out, be patient and don't apply too much torque.
Some mechanics will also apply heat (with a torch) to loosten a bolt, but DON'T do this if you have already sprayed it with an oil for obvious reasons.
For a really stubborn bolt, you can also purchase what's commonly called an "ez-out" which kind of looks like a drill bit, but the spiral goes the opposite way of the bolt threads. Esentially, you drill a small hole down the center of the bolt and then twist the e-z out (held in a tapping tool) into the bolt to spin it out.
Good luck.

PB BLASTER or NUTS OFF works well also. might even need a little heat from a torch depends on on how bad the corrosion is

My dad owns a mobile repair service and always runs into this problem. If you cant get a good grip with pliers then use a reverse drill bit. You can get a variety of different sizes and they come in a set of four.

Use Vice-Grips to remove the allen bolt. I have no idea about the clicking.
