My friends and i are planning a trip to O.N.F, we are probably going to Big Scrub. Can anyone tell me if you have to make reservations to camp there? Or can you just go and pay your parking fee and your in? Any other info on Big scrub would be helpfull too. thanks.

You can just show up. They have water but no electric and all generators have to be off around 10pm I believe. If you are going on a holiday weekend (Thanksgiving) you might want to get there early as it tends to fill up fast.

Take plenty of Birght colored clothing, HUNTING SEASON IS DEADLY. Other than that you should have a good time. When you get back how about a review of the new trials.

If you want a better campsite with water /electric/showers/pool/laundry room.Ocala Forest Campground is on 42 going towards 19. $17.00 a night and if your riding you can go over to O.N.F. and pull right off the road and not have to go all the way into Big Scrub.

yeah for sur you just need it to be quiet after 10pm  we went around beginign of summer sh*t was hot as hell! and bugs were terible.  there is a really nice swimming hole near buy   like 5 mins buy quad. its down the power lines on the left. we stayed two nights and it was great. the only thing i didn't like was the woops but they can be fun at times just have to get away from the well known areas and you will have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!
