Does anyone know who owns that track on the westside of Croom, just over the fence?

It looks like a great track, hard packed, and obviously maintained. However, I never see anyone riding there.

I noticed the fence was knocked down last time I was out there, but I just don't feel right riding on it when it has obvious NO TRESSPASSING signs on it.

I'd gladly pay to ride that track.

I've seen it. I heard someone created a track that went on that side of croom and there were other places by the track you could ride on but the guy who built it didn't get permission from the state and they said no one from croom can go on it because he didn't ask them

Randy Yoho owns the track.  He said that he wanted to open it up one day but there are legal problems.  Sound isues.....Huh don't understand that one but also the neighbors do not want something else going in there.  The entrance would go by there houses and they do not want the trafic.  One of thew people that opposes the track is a lawyer....  So it could take some time.

Every now and then they have a school out there or some big names are out there.

its a really nice track right? They should make an entrence through croom so this way people have to pay the state and the track, everyone wins!

Not that I would ever ignore a "NO TESSPASSING SIGN", but since the fence is down...how much trouble could I really get in?

Well since its never been opened then i guess it would still be "under construction" which could make it a construction site which would make it felony tresspass.

I'm not advocating tresspassing here but read the bost above where it says I have raced there when I was younger. That means it must have been open right?
