Having withdrawals
«
on:

Ok I am going crazy without my Rappy being in service. I am starting have systoms of withdrawals so I needed to vent to my ATV family. Hi my name is Tony (AkA) T2Raptor and have not ridden my bike in over a month and a half, and I don't known what to do anymore. Everywhere I look people are going on group rides in this beautiful weather. So who do I turn to in these desparate times of not riding what do I do? I don't known anymore I need help. Someone please help, I need help, does anyone here me, is there anyone out there.

There is no cure I'm sorry to say, the only way for you to recover is to get yer quad back and join everyone for the group rides.
There will be people going for rides I'm sure who would let you on their quads,,,,if I had more than just me up here this weekend, I would tell ya to come on up.

I have to agree with Flblaster, we need some kind of surpport group for situtations when the bike is down, or in Chuck case, when we are broke down. It would sure help out our fellow riders when in need.
On a different note my axle sould be here on 20th and hopefully I will be up and running for Rodman ride. And the kids Blaster is being rebuilt as well, blown the top end and when that happened I cracked the engine case too, so That has to be replaced, and hoping it would be done by the ride as well.

Take it from a 13yr old that is always grounded from his quad, stay on this site and other sites and if that fails then just don't think about it. Other than that there is no cure except to get it back and ride. What is wrong with it anyway?

Bent my axle, and had to send it back to Durabend for them to strengthen it out. Well long story short, its taken forever for them to get the axle back to me.

My bud has a limited edition yfz450 that he runs the crap out of. He does allot of races and has allot of mods for it and he uses durablue axels. I think they are the yamaha axels? Pretty sure that is what they are called. He has never broke one. Correct me if i'm wrong on the name.

i guess being that i fix my own quad, i cant understand what in sam hell takes 6 months to fix. jesus christ. i supt up my bikes and it only took a couple weeks and that was waiting for the bore on the cylinder. is atv repairs shops that backed up. maybe i should start up a business fixing 'em. i'm sure i wont take six months for anything. nothing takes that long to do. not even if the parts are back-ordered. thank god i do it myself. hell i'm not riding this weekend cause i'm waiting on a tie rod and i'm going nuts.

I know the feeling. I cracked my bottom end (the bikes [smiley=Wink.gif]) at the Rodman ride in January.
It has looked like this ever since [smiley=Cry.gif]

Well I don't know why it would take a year to redue a motor, and if I wanted to ride that bad I would not waste a year on a motor, I would just go out and get another bike, because a year is just way to long to wait to go riding.
I mean Sh&$ I am having a hard time waiting just a month and a half to ride, And that was out of my hands on waiting for my axle to come back. I was getting ready to buy a new axle if my wasn't going to be back on time for the Rodman ride. I have the tracking # from FedEx and it should be here on Wed. if it don't get lost in the process of getting to my house. What that being said I will not wait a year to ride unless I was not physically able to. But if its the bike she will be replaced with another one.
