Ya'll please be carefull at 5A this time of year. The hunters are getting less courteous and more numerous each year. I don't like to ride there during the season cause of all the hunters.

5A is located on Osteen / Maytown in Osteen. Or easier found from 95 to the Scottsmore exit. Usually you'll find a lot of trucks and trailers parked to the side, good indication your in the right place.
I heard it is real wet right now, and if you don't have a utility, you probably are getting through.

But hey, if you want more info, let me know.

We've been trying to find out about the hunting situation at 5A, Thanks for your reply. We'll just be cautious if we go out today.

In the big 5a ride post they mention the hunters are putting up the signs to try and keep the quads out of where they want to hunt.

Last year they did the same thing, they had a big sign spray painted saying "Hunting Season Open".  Also last year I was riding the main grade comming from the maytown entrance and came across a large group of hunters who were not happy I was there. They were like were hunting here however they were all standing in the middle of the main grade talking.

Gotta be careful with some of those hunters.
