put your helmet on, sit a little further back on the seat than you normally would. pull the clutch and put it in 1st gear mash the gas all the way give it a second to build some RPM and slide your finger off the clutch, that should get you started.

You can use the clutch, especially if you're doing a wheelie from a stopped position-don't know any other way.  You really don't have to rev up engine too much-releasing clutch handle and giving it gas at the same time is your best bet-too much gas you'll end up on the grab bar.  It will take a while but you'll find the quads balance point-it's that point where it almost feels like it will go all the way to the grab bar but doesn't-hard to explain but you'll know when you find it.  Also, don't shift into higher gears with clutch when popping a wheelie-front wheels will fall back down almost every time when upshifting w/clutch.

the best way to learn how to wheelie is first go all the way back and learn that doesn't hurt. Then a wheelie is all about throdle control not leaning. if u have to u can use the rear break to keep it from going to far back and thats about it . its all about practice. I can wheelie my big ds650 and i have to say thats way harder than a samller sport bike

lol my freind wheelies his dads wolverine, basically put one foot on the back bar, keep your foot on the shifter, put it into second, then click it down and hold it down into first, rev the crap out of the gas and let go of the shifter, itll come up, but i dont reccomend doing this alot, its like the same thing as popping the clutch but there could be consequenceas 2 it that i dont know about Undecided

Just keep practiceing, thats what I did and now I can ride them all day. You can even get the 350 up in 4th if you stand on the back with one foot and rev the hell out of it then pop the clutch. I'm hoping with new filter, pipe, and jet kit, the thing will come up in 2nd with no clutch. I'll find out in a couple weeks. Grin
