The whole thing about finding someone special when you arent looking is DEFINATELY true. I was just looking for riding buddies... and wham... theres Scooter. Granted, I cant see what the future holds for us, but the last 1 1/2 yrs have been amazing.

Most of you guys make comments about not wanting those women.  However, that's not what we hear.  Meaning that you say one thing then when there's a hot chick around you all stand around and oogle over her either making comments or sneaking peaks when your significant other isn't looking.  We notice those looks and they can have negative effects on our self esteem.  Making us feel like we need to look like those girls to be desirable in that way.

I hear ya QT I was in a relationship for 2 1/2 yrs and am now out of the relationship and loving every second of it.  I'm having so much fun with all new friends that I've met here and there. I'm going out more just enjoying myself.  Things I couldn't do while i was with the Ex unless I wanted to start an arguement.  Yep you said it best Its been very refreshing to be happily single, like jumping in a pool after you just mowed the lawn it's great!!

Guys-We all know you look at those pretty girls and think your male thoughts about them.  It does hurt and it does make us second guess ourselves are we good enough? Would my man want somebody skinnier or prettier?  But hey girls do it too.  We look make our comments.  Just try a littler harder not to pull a muscle in your neck when you stare and make sure wipe the drool off your chins.

Ladies-Like I said there has probably been a time or two when you've been out with your friends guys or girls or even boyfriend and some good looking guy caught your stare and suddenly your sing a certain David Allan Coe song that goes something like "I'd like to...out of you"(yeah you know which one I'm talking about you dirty girls)so you can't beat up on the guys to much.  Like they said if your confident in yourself THEY WILL NOTICE!!

My motto Live happily, Love happily-don't sweat the small stuff honey becuase you really don't have it so bad if your only problem is the oppisite sex.  Guys and gals will come and go it will hurt real bad when they do but we are all strong enough to stand on our own when they do go.

See, I do care about personality but looks are very important as well. I'm not super shallow. Even women are shallow to some extent.

Well come on lets be real of course it is all based on looks.  I understand that sounds really shallow but if your out and you see a good looking girl and they have a friend with them who is either really skinny or obese, hairy and has been beaten with the ugly stick one two many times whos gonna be the person you'll most likely talk to with an interest?  Fist impressions are based on looks.  How many times has a complete stranger walked up to anybody on this site and you'd turn them down because they weren't your type?  How could you know somebody isn't your type in just five minutes of saying hello my name is___.  What's yours?  Where are you from.  We like to be visably pleased that's all.

I guess your right it has happened to me. It may not have been because of looks but maybe nationallity or maybe both God knows...You have nooo idea how crappy it feels like to talk to a girl about something you like and you feel like you are being ingored. But being a single father dont help either . the whole baggage thing goes both ways. I have allways wondered what it would feel like to meet someone that you could just wake up next to and say '' You wanna go riding'' or '' do you wanna go to the mall'' . Being visably pleased sometimes comes at a price. What looks good on the outside can sometimes be ugly on the inside....

Of course physical attraction is important... I mean, I wouldnt want to make out with someone who I'm not attracted to, lol. But when looks become your main judgement of people thats when things go wrong. As long as I connect with someone on an emotional/real level then the physical attraction usually just escalates, lol.
