2, I seem to be a PROfessional Practicer   Undecided

I don't know why. I like to race but don't love it. When I get all
geared up something always goes wrong and I usually end up
spec'ing.

But I LOVE riding now... BLAAAUGH

They told me a year ago they would have lights by december of 04, as well as campgrounds, bike cleaning area, a bunch of those huts with vendors, etc, etc..  I wouldn't count on lights anytime soon.  They don't work too fast out there.

If you have never raced you can't understand. The feeling of finishing a 2 hour race is a real feeling of accomplishment. The rush you get at the line and going into the first turn is unreal. It is a lot different then a team sport. It is just you and the track. You have no one to fall back on but yourself. I love it. Hopefully I will get to do some races this year. I have a new job and it unfortunately conflicts with most of the race schedule.

I used to ride UTE's but it was the same old same old every time I would ride.

Racing is somthing different for me, my first race, I pulled top 5 in the holeshot. I crashed, but who cares I am going back next weekend to race in madison because it was so much fun.

Racing is like one of my riding buddys said "its seperating the men from the boys" shows who has the brass ones in situations where you didnt think you could possibly do it.

Also, spectators.. Man, I was SOOO wore out after my crash(not to mention hurt throttle hand) There were some people standing near a opening, as soon as I saw them I RIPPED the bike open, it was a great feeling.

The only thing about racing I dont like is the drive up to events.
