that's good, it should be a good turnout. it is not very often a track has a quad only race. are you going to race?

Is it just OCT 2?  I heard it was going to be a 2 day event.  I know we're racing on the big track, that sucks.

How much does it cost to race and do you need  to pay for a track membership too?

It is about a 2-21/2 hour drive but I think we will try to make the race also.  It's a nice and long track. We only ran there once but liked it alot.

The quads are racing on the motocross track, which is the smaller track, also known as the "quad track".

O yea I'm gonna be there! Wink

That vid has shots from both the quad track and the supercross track. I'm pretty sure that huge step down is on the quad track. Here is a video from the quad track only.

Guys,
The motocross track is the big track.  I know it doesn't make sense, but thats what they call it.  It is the only track there with a starting gate.  The little track that we all love is the supercross track, we will not be racing on this one.

I went and it was a good turn out. There was one rider #15 on a TRX450 that was racing 16-24 age group and running B class. He won both 2nd round motos. I didn't get to see the first motos because I got there late. This kid is definately a A rider. He is fast.

Yeah the races were good. That kid flies!!! I went with just a couple of friends and our kids so they could enjoy a day at the track. I think we will be racing on the next one.

# 15 was the only guy in the B class that probably did not belong there. the rest of the class was well matched. the first race was a a new episode of survivor big cypress. at 1.2 miles and over 2 minutes per lap 7 laps is a tall order. good thing they shortened the 2nd moto. it was more fun and a little better racing since you did not have to pace yourself to much. over all it was a good turn out but there were more quads there for saturday practice so i thought the sunday turn out would have been a little better. NOTE TO ALL THE GUYS AND GALS THAT CAME ON SATURDAY AND DID NOT RACE SUNDAY YOU ALL NEED TO TIGHTEN UP A LITTLE AND COME OUT AND RACE.

We stayed and I raced Sunday in C. My husband didnt race because he was trying to keep up with me and our friends in the pro class. It's a good thing though because the 7 Laps would have KILLED him Tongue. I thought I was going to puke after that first moto

This was our first time down there and my first race with the guys. We had a blast and will definately come down again for Quad Only racing.

hey what's up guys! SEVEN LAP 1st MOTO!!!!! that is what set the tone for the racers. i had a really good time. i finally met a lot of you for the first time and others we just renewed friendships.  when it was all said and done i finished 6th overall and was awarded a 6th place plaque. not bad(to me)considering 17 quads in class and in second moto i stalled at gate and was dead last into the first turn!!! then to add to the bad start the turn after the second table-top i came over and mrs. NB was tangled with another rider which i got into that too!!! not on the 1st lap! i got back on sucked it up and just rode twice as hard. went from 17th to 6th before the checkered flag. MRS. NB you told me it was your first race in these scenerios. i think you did awesome and should be proud. now if you said you will be back, that's good. EWORM it was that killer chicken sandwich dude!! thanks again. SLOFORDS i think you parked in front of me. i had the white/red yfz #67 in the red f-250. last time i  read the forums posted here was friday did not know it was you. sweet looking truck though! can't wait for the next race!!!
