I just talked to Scott, The opthamologist was in and didn't see any pressure behind Colton's eye. This is a good thing which means there has been no damage to Colton's sight.
By the way, The nurses busted Scott on their laptop so he will not be posting updates anymore. sneaky devil  Evil

I might be able to help him out with something while he is here...there are computers in the family waiting room on the 1st floor he can use as well....but i'll see if i can dig something up

I spoke to his mother in law (or mom, 1 of the 2)   today when she was on her way to the cafe and she told me Colton is doing much better today....much more responsive, and seizures not as intense or lasting as long...a sembelance of a light at the end of the tunnel for them! but not out of the woods yet...

Peanut and I just got back from the hospital and we have some good news to report. The steroids that Colton is on so far has been keeping his seizures to a minimum. They talked to the Dr today and he see's nothing that would be causing these seizures which is a good thing in that there is apparently no brain damage. There is talk of sending them home tomorrow so keep up the prayers, They are obviously working.

Well, The Pearce family is at home. I talked to Scott earlier this afternoon when they were driving home. I'm sure they are going to get some much needed sleep and then Scott will get online and fill us all in.
I can tell you this. They are eternally greatful for everyones support, prayers, cards, balloons and stuffed animals. Scott and Sherry were beside themselves expressing gratitude towards everyone.

This is probable going to be hard to read as I have hit a wall, emotionally and physicaly. You all are the most increadible group of folks... half of you or better have never even met me of my family. I ahve always felt as I were born 100 years to late as people do not think the way I do with compation, faith and empathy for others this has changed my mind. You all have a life of yoyr own and your own issues, but for one week you took time to lift the weight off of my shoulders, and for that you are all true friends. The prayers you have sent and the support you have given has helped heal our son you should all take pride in that. My familt Mother, Sister could not believe the type of people I am so blessed to be associated with.. all of you!! Big Scub brothers, you guys ROCK!!!! Sending those beers to Borise and Lucenia made thier day (ans mine)!!!
Mike you and Jenn are awesome!! I thank each and evey one of you from the bottom of my heart!!! I will post more about Colton in the AM but I felt compelled to thank you all...and get some rest! Grin

Wow I never thought how important my signature on this site may be!!

Glad to hear he is doing better.  ya'll probably do need some rest after sleeping in those chair/beds and having to endure the stress of the whole hospital situation. but hope all went well while here.

And you all have!! I have been told Colton is very lucky to have parents as strong as Sherry and I.... We get out strength from being blessed to have people like you lifting us up. "Never put a question mark where God has put a period"
