I live in a midclass subdivided neighborhood. I am not allowed to ride my atv in there but I understand that so I just keep them at my warehouse. This morning I was running late for work so I was driving a lil faster than usual, but as I pulled out onto 1 road I came to a stop then took off, all of sudden there is a new white/red yamaha(660 or 350) not sure which going AT LEAST 60MPH(30mph zone) around the lake on the road and I almost hit him as he comes around the blind corner. The person driving it was a kid I went to school with that had been arrested for auto theft and other things before. I stopped and told a cop about him riding on the road at such high speeds and that the driver has a record of theft. I hope this is his and not something he stole. Now this 1 kid is going to ruin it for us all in the town. I told the cop I ride quads everyweekend and I can't stand people breaking the law and having no respect for authority and other residents. He said he also rides and he got on his radio right away and broadcast the location, I just hope they ticket him and teach him a lesson.

I understand completely, there is a kid that rides his quad down my street at least 50mph, paved also. It only bothers me when I work the day shift and have to get up early. He usually does this at 9:00 or 10:00pm, and he doesn't wear a helmet either. Sometimes he has a rider. It's not all the time or I'd call the law on him, or someone else would I'm sure. I can't believe his parents let him do this, when he hits something, and he will because he almost hit my truck one day as I was leaving, he better hope he lives through it.  He rides it almost out of control, full speed all the time. He was within inches of my truck that day, with a rider.

Whats sad is that these days if you pull out of your drive way and he is speeding at 50mph or something and he hits you, his family will sue you and most likely win and then your insurance company will pay and all of our rates will go up because they won a $10million case.

Its True folks thats why were getting f^&ked out of places to ride. Florida Lawmakers dont want us to own quads. They prefer er go to the mall and buy s^%t. Spend a night out in the town. Or go to the Movies. I fine every once in a while but F^&K that gets old after awhile.

Doesn't seem right does it?  We have 2 kids in our neighborhood who drag race those mini sport bikes down the middle of our street.  What ticks me off is that they do not wear helmets, and I can't imagine these things are street legal.  The other night, this was going on at 10:30pm (my kids trying to sleep), I called the Sherriff, but I think they were a no show.

In the next neighborhod, there is another kid who rides a 90cc quad around the perimeter of the park on the SIDEWALK, again, no helmet and sometimes carries his little sister on the back.  Stupid parents is all I can say.  [smiley=stooges.gif]
