Well as most of you know I'm not the type to sit around and wait for someone to take the lead. With that in mind, I am proud to announce the Asphaltdragon "Do-It-Yourself Oil Refinery". That's right! No more worries about were your next tank of petrol (gas) will come from.

Just gather up the old oil from the last automobile oil change that's been sitting in the garage, and PRESTO!!! Your got yourself your first batch of good ole' fashion gasoline! Heck, it don't matter what type of oil your working with, even the ladies can get in on this one. Girls imagine surprising your hard working man when he gets home from work with a 6 gallon container of fuel that you converted from the bacon oil/grease that's been sitting under the kitchen sink!!! Now that's what I call Love.....

For only 12 easy payments of $199,999.00 this little wonder can be yours!

Proper safety equipment is necessary, See photo below. Helmet not included.

I wish it could be that easy Grin If you were around on this site last year you might recognize that picture Wink

yeah that is a dangerous set up. If you want the helmet it will cost you $1000.00 just cause it was worn be me Grin

But seriously, I happened to be watching a program this morning that featured a guy who make whats called Biodiesel. So what I was joking about yesterdday is actually possible. He used new or used vegetable oil to make a fuel that can be burned in a diesel engine!

Do a google search on biodiesel

There are a few places you can get the equipment to make diesel from vege oil. It was on Trucks a few weeks ago.
http://journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_make.html

http://www.green-trust.org/biodiesel.htm

http://www.survivalunlimited.com/biodiesel.htm

http://www.veggies.org.uk/biodies.htm

I think Stacie on trucks said that after the equip was paid for it worked out to be like a buc a gallon. I am not sure if that was including the chemicals you have to add or not. The neet thing is allot of places ,resturants and such will give or pay you to dispose of the old oil.
