Where are the cruise ships????

Has anyone else heard anything about the cruise lines getting involved? I think its a better idea then taking a bunch of VERY desperate people and placing them into another community to lute and pilage. Atleast on a ship they would be confined. I know that not all the folks are bad by no means but there are a bunch right now taking advantage of this tragity. put them on a boat off shore a few miles and I'll bet they behave don't ya think?

Why bother using those cruise ships? They're just gonna catch on fire like the always do.  j/k. But seriously, I saw that on the news too. I wonder how many ships Carnival is going to lend. I believe their fleet is like at 10 or so.  -Mark

A typical cruise ship will hold 2,000-4,000 people tops. You are talking about 60,000-100,000 people & a select group is choosing to act like thug gangbangers. 10 ships=20,000-40,000 max.  I feel a lot of pain for all the people who lost in this storm, but if you choose to live in the center of a lake, one day God might decide to fill that lake up with water. If I were there, I would take my total loss insurance money & relocate FOR SURE!!!!! I would never live there again. Would you loan your luxury cruise vessel to a ghetto full of thugs so it could be looted & vandalized? I wouldnt.

Also cruise ships are booked through out the year.  They never have a week or day off for that matter.  They make money 24/7 365 days a year.

It sounds good when you think about it but…. Putting it into action really really bad Idea! They don’t know how to act now! Confine them to a ship in the middle of the ocean??? It would be just like flinging poop at each other!!
