ANY General contractors on the site

I was wondering if there were any general contractors on the site. I may need some orientation on what to look for and how to check these guys out so see how legit. the GC may be. I really don't want to get ripped off.

i used p&h additions for my addition in my home and that guy was straight up legit. his name is leo hes here in miami. hes an old school stand up guy. put it this way while others wanted money upfront he would only take payment after the work was complete. oh and another thing when he told me he would be there, he would be there. the project was done on time and as expected. hes a great guy. check him out.

No money up front is the way a good contractor works. You shouldn't have to pay for anything up front. License number and county tag in the truck they work out of, they might not carry a piece of paper with their lic. number on it but they are required to have that tag visible at all times which has the lic. no. on it.
