whats the secret to building a good jump?

You can rent a bobcat from an equipment rental place for like 150 for the day.

I think the key to a good jump is the lip and the slope of the landing.


It's hard to build good jumps here in FL because of the sandy soil.

If you've ever been to Durhamtown in GA and rode that big MX track, you know what I mean...it's soooo frickin smooth.

In Florida the jumps tend to decay to quickly.

Dont pay attention to this post it is old, Just the other weekend we made a asome table top its like 30 ft maybe, sounds small but sure is fun

well idk because most ppl dont have these avalible.
but for me its a loader dozer place to dig a hole. and some know how to run the machine's..

other then that u have to ride it fast and then remake the take offs after the dirt dry's because it gets soo sandy and worre out..

if you want a good jump that will last buy some sand mixed with 50% clay, so it will stay pretty solid, and not wear away as quickly, and when it rains it will not wash away.

Or just cover the top 6 inches or so with clay and pack it, then water it. it will last for a long long time.
