Bartow, not that nice anymore !!!

A group, of us went to Bartow tonight and we found out that  they cut the track almost in half, took over some of the nice jumps and it gets really hard to ride on it, they few jumps  they left get really bad, you can't get enough speed, I was really disapointed, ot top of it, one of my friends just got the membership card this Sunday, he left this card  home and explaind  to the guy, he wouldn't take his time to look on the Sunday's rides to make sure he was sayind the thruth. I asked one of the guys when we where leaving and he said, well thats the way we have it now, ahh on ot top of all this, they raised the fee, humm nice isn't it.
I just hope they get better, or even better, I hope Lionel at Mulberry Motocross Park put some lights, so we don't have to worry about any of this inconvinients.
  This is just me, not been a  %100 MX rider , I wonder what a MX rider think about

they  didnt raise  the fee  it is still 15 with membership

they cut the track so they  can have the sand track out back  since it dont hold rain


lol they didnt cut it in half either  they took out the sweeper and 2 jumps  we havent had any problems clearing any of the jumps out there

the only jump  that would be effected by the change is the stepup after the 2 table tops?


i wouldnt say its not good anymore we still seem  to like it alot

Clear there is nothing to clear anymore, there are no doubles any more and for your information, they used to charge us (no members) $20, now they charge $25, and less track... nice...

I agree with you, and I'm not going back until they change the track.    I think it sucks now!

We went a couple of weeks ago,And we agree this track was the worst we ever went to.     I felt I got ripped off by this track. Definitely not worth the time and money to travel from melbourne.           We were told it was a great track but we sure didnt feel that way. we'll stick to any other track.      I thought it was just us that felt that way.

last time i went you couldnt clear any thing but the 2 tables. the big double sucks because the turn got shortend but thats because of the rain actually its all because of the rain. but the sweeper was the funnest part of the track.

If this is true it does suck. I finally broke down and got a membership as well . Had a few friends of mine ride Bithlo about 3 weeks back and kept telling me how much better it was compared to Bartow. These guys are beginner MXers and were basically saying how boring Bartow is compared to Bithlo. I decided to head over and ride Bithlo this past tuesday and that track definitely puts bartow to shame. The jumps are waayyyyyy better, track doesn't rut up nearly as bad, NO breaking bumps AT ALL! Will have to see what SM does, Head over to Mulberry again , or finally go check out Lakeland (10am to 2pm)  on w/e's.

I haven't been in Lakeland recently, it wasn't that bad, and now if we compare to Bartow, it is OK and cheaper.

And do you know how much time will take me to get to Birthlo coming from Tampa, it sounds interesting but I guess it is a little too far for me

Yep, I met him on Kajill's, I was getting some parts for my quad, I think it was like a week ago.

theres no way im goin back to bartow untill they get that track back in order. what a dissapointment! week after week we show up to ride,     not only did the up the price,      they cut 1/4 off the track.    the best part of the track no doubt!!      whats up bartow?    do u want to go out of business?      we went up to hard rock today   and that place is crazy!!    some of the best overall terrain in florida.   i loved it!!!!    we should get a huge ride together and camp out all weekend!    wudda do u guys think

Well Kevin, Hard Rock is what we can really call a  MX track, with real jumps... WOW !!! that's a nice place, with some other tracks for everyone's joy.

What part of the track did they cut out? Was it the intermediate track?

They cut out the big sweeper on the SW end of the track.  I agree with Luis and Kevin on this one.  The track fees for non-members went up to $25.  I wouldn't mind paying that if they did a better job with keeping the track in good condition.  It seems that everytime I go out there, the track gets worse and worse.
