We traveled to France, Italy and Switzerland and you would think I would have more pictures. I would if not for a pick pocket in Rome deciding he should have my camera. I lost all my pictures from Venus, Rome, Florence and Switzerland. Loosing all my pictures is worse than getting the camera stolen. Look out in Rome, it is a city of theives. We saw several crimes commited while we were their.

Enough with the culture and bad news. These little cars are everywhere in Europe and yes they are as small as it looks. It's not much bigger than a large ATV.

My wife posing with the Smart Car (that is what they are called). I learned they are powered by a 60 HP 3 cylinder engine.

I spent the trip trying to figure out 2 things. How can I get one of these little things home, and how can I stuff a 4x4 chassis under it and have the coolest ATV around. BTW, I saw street legal ATV's driving on the roads. Just needed a licience plate, mirror and horn. With gas prices at $5.00/gal smart cars, scooters and motorcycles are a the only way to go.
Thats it, wish I had more.

Sorry about your camera. I have seen one in the North Miami area and in South Beach. So they are already here. The ones I saw where Mercedes Benz make. So, I don't know how cost effective it really is. $5.00/ gal, that sounds really scary! I hope they make sport ATV's street legal by then.
