sandmountain is a motor cross track, flat track, peewee track, and some big hill climbs. its like $25 for riders and $5 for spectators. no food or water on site so you will need to bring your own stuff. and they might not have everything open be open . call first

Hills climbs  Grin How big are we talking, and what's it like up top? Is there enough room to get air off the top without worrying about running off a cliff?

Well I am going to have to check it out when they open up in August.

Quad32x - I know the weight of my quad, what does your weight? And make sure you include the conversion chart from stones to pounds for those of us riding things younger than most grandmothers   Shocked Grin  Don't bother knocking the spider webs and dust off that thing... you'll just get covered again trying to catck up to me  Smiley

I admit my 470 pound pig is heavy, but it's fun to ride. And I don't need a second mortgage to stock up on plugs for an antique like you LT (lazy transexual) 500.  Shocked

Yep and that's dry weight too  Shocked. With me and fluids it runs around 715  Embarrassed But with over 50HP and plenty of torque it still moves quite well for a tank on 4 wheels. What kind of hp and weight is the Gas Gas 300?

But they come with pipe already set up, so it's comprable to mine HP wise now, but you definitely have a weight advantage. Too bad even that won't help you when you foul a plug and I take off riding  Grin

Like I said I almost bought the Gas Gas 300, but the good thing about mine is that I don't have to be in a power band. When jumping my buddy on the lt250 has to be conscious of that where I can just roll up to a jump and hit the throttle. It's a big beast but  I can make it fly.  Grin
I like the power of the 2 stroke (don't tell any one I said that) but the ease of riding a four is much more comfortable and enjoyable. If I was just drag racing I would have a 2 smoke, but other than that 4 is the only way to go.
