My outlander is acting like a female and had to drop it off at the dealer in Tampa so I am down and out for right now.

Is that the can am dealer on Florida ave?  I had nothing but bad experience there. Had a renegade 800 a few years back and had them replace the fuel pump.  Waited over 2 weeks and when I went to pick it up, I noticed a huge permanent stain on my seat.  Come to find out due to space, they stack atv's on top of each other on metal racks.  My luck was that mine was on the bottom and the piece of sh&$ were on top.  Fought for a week with them until a mechanic said it wad his fault then 5 weeks to get the new cover and another week for them to get it put on

Looks like the weather is going to be cold. Come ready for a cold start and not much of a warm up. Last time I rode up there I got cold early on and couldn't seem to warm up. This time I'll be ready for it.
The long range forecast calls for 36 in the morning and warming to around 60.  Grin

Yes, the weekend looks cold. There's four of us going up tomorrow and meeting at the TH on US19 in the purple section. I'll probably be there around 7:30 AM and the rest around 8 AM. These guys like to go fast and so do I. 100 miles will be no problem at all. Maybe we'll break the 145.2 mile record that I did last Friday.

Rolling on the Floor Laughing Rolling on the Floor Laughing Rolling on the Floor Laughing    I guess even Ironman Larry has his limits.
You must cover every trail out there and some twice. Maybe when there is more daylight you can beat your own record.

Looking forward to riding this Sunday. We have only riden in the North OHV Trail System once. We did the Longleaf trail from the Lake Delancy campground. If it doesn't matter to you we would like to ride on the other trails first to see what they are like. Is there any place to get gas near the 316 trail head? I haven't had my Commander very long and haven't figured out how far I can ride on a full tank of gas yet.

The closest gas would be the 88 Store & can be reached by taking the 88 Store connector trail.
Instead of taking a right @ the trail head on 316 take a left & it will cross 316. You will have to go around the corral @ the end of the trail to reach the gas station Have fun & stay warm!!!!!!!

K_man don't worry about gas too much. If you start with a full tank you should be good for at least 50 miles plus. Most atvs seem to get around 20 miles per gal.  I'll carry an extra gal just in case. But we are seldom out of reach of the truck. Just bring something to drink and snacks . I'll try to get us back to the truck for lunch. Then you can decide if you want to ride more or not. Having extra gas at the truck is always a good idea. And remember it's gonna be chilly.
My wife will not be making this ride. But she's already bugging to go riding soon.

Great ride today ! It was about 28 degrees when we started and 55 and rain at the end. Grin It was real nice meeting K-man and his wife. We will have ride together again soon. Thanks for riding. I enjoyed the company.
That Can-Am Commander performed great. And Kman threaded it down the trails like a pro.
Not a lot of traffic today. They are widening Longleaf Trail north of Delancy West Campground. It was a bit rough. Keep this in mind when riding.

When your sure just post up. Once a month to Ocala is my goal. I would like to go every weekend ,but it's too far for that.
If I had a rig like Thunderdually I would go for the weekend. I'm going to check an enclosed trailer today. And then I'll check out some tents. Tents are cheaper. I'm not fond of camping. The campground off of the Hog Valley trail looks good. They have power and showers. But I'll sure miss my bed.

Not as many as we wanted. it rained on the 30 mins. or so. We were going to refuel and head back out but we were wet. No need and getting cols too.
