I have a friend that has a Grizzly 700. His battery went dead and he recharged it, but now he has a big flashing E on the display.

Anybody know what this means?

Thanks, Larry

Buddy of mine left his key on and it killed the battery, after charging it his did the same thing. After researching and talking to the yamaha dealership they told him if you let the battery completely die on the 700's it messes up the cluster. He had to buy a new cluster to get rid of the flashing E. It ran fine just the blinking bothered him so he spent the money.. No clue why they would design it that way but it seems common on them..

Hopefully his will be something different.....
