before they closed down recently nw41st passing the jail,i use 2 ride behind the lake alot,1 day i found the wreckage of what looks like a big cargo type plane, the landing gear/tires were all there &  twisted parts all around..i even found a few youtube video on this other atv riders have shot,,does anybody have any info on this plane?.why it crashed, did anybody die?,why they leave it there?..a buddy of mine is a pilot out of tamiami airport he flew over the wreckage in a chopper, took pics & recored the coordinates,he has done some deep research & cant find anything on this down plane, not even the FAA or NTSB has anything on file, when he reported it. Huh Shocked Shocked...THANK GUYS

Yeah -I've been there many many times over the years. I've also looked for info many times and never found any records of it. I've only heard that supposedly it went down with alot of cargo after trying to circle back to MIA due to emergency but didnt make it. It was more than likely swamped in that area at the time.-Not sure how many where on board -pretty sure most died. Some of the plane has been taken away for scrap by some people over the years. Hard to reach most of the time (sometimes for years at a time) due to water levels that vary out there. Thats probably why all that debris wasnt removed at the time because of the soft ground/water/mud. Sadly, The whole area is closed off now pretty much. Wish I knew more......

Uh- yes it is. Rode there for many, many years without seeing a FWC or police. Never had any problems until about a year ago. Drag racers on the road, racing past the jail, littering, lots & lots of stolen vehicles, discharging of all kinds of weapons is what messed it up in my opinion. Plain lack of respect & total ignorance of many careless youths. Unfortunately, you are trespassing anywhere you ride here nowadays.-face it.

does anybody know what year this plane went down?...ur right to get 2 this plane is really hard due to swamp/high water, ive only been able 2 get 2 it a few times in like 3yrs..im sure the lake on nw41st holds a ton of stolen cars in the dark depth 30ft deep, its a real shame i fished there & got a few nice sized peacock bass ,1 was 6lbs..i would only ride out there during the week ( mon thru thru) i went once on a sat at 2pm OMG, a million bikes, cars, the shooting seemd like a competion & yes the drag racing on the street was insane...I have found  {1st with goggle maps & then i go in my dualsport bike 2 explore it) sooo many new/awesome riding areas with lots of parking, no trespassing signs, just open/vergin land thats rideable,id love 2 share it with other riders but im scared  Shocked Sad Cry Angry the same thing will happen like with nw 41st..

It’s hard to phantom the mentality of some people when it comes to the debate of no trespassing signs VS I can ride there because there are no (no trespassing signs posted).  It comes down to the same thing. If you don’t own the land or have permission from the owner to ride there you don’t have any right to be there even though you may think so. every piece of land is owned by some one. It’s a shame that land owners have to post signs to tell other people to stay off of land that they don’t own.

What is even sadder is the fact that even after posting up no trespassing signs some people still think “ OH that doesn't apply to me.. I’m Special”.

This kind of mentality is exactly what puts a bad spin on the atv comunity. So in other words its ok for me & a few friends to come ride on your property whether you want us or not, right!!!!!!!

Almost every post you have been involved with so far has been about riding in locations that are illegal. I know it sucks in south Florida for riders but boasting about trespassing is uncool to most responsible riders who go the extra mile to do it legally and help the private ride parks stay open as well as the state areas. It's just a matter of time before you get busted even on your dual sport.

If your going to go, go big, carry a pocket knife while trespassing so its an armed trespass and then its a felony and then they can also sieze the bike because it was used while committing the crime.

Oh if you had the 50 acers and you let people ride till the wheels fell off they would get hurt and then sue you and they would then become the new land owner.

Sometimes its best to keep somethings to yourself so it does not %$&^% up things for others, just saying.

I would say  your more like a CAPON  (look that up)  Oh hell I forgot you have probably been out all night riding with out head lights destroying some one’s property and are very very tired so I will tell you what it means...   “ A capon is a castrated rooster”  You will have to look up castrated yourself.. If you did have any balls you would support the private ATV parks. Support the state parks. And work with others to get more parks approved.

But NO you would rather sneak around at night and ride on property that belongs to others.  Instead of helping you would rather show every one WHY the parks should be shut down.

By the way I’m not just speaking of you but every one that has the same attitude as you have. Contrary to what you may think. the world does not owe you A thing.

Any special reason you just had to say “we Cuban’s”??  are you trying to say all Cuban’s feel the same way as you do?

here's a lil legal info 4 all u dual sporters in here,i called my brother inlaw he has been in law enforcement 4 over 15yrs.he told me if u have a dual sport bike its a legal street bike, even small dirt roads r legal streets with names/#'s,so if we see u riding a dirtroad thats public land we cant touch u cuse ur bike is a street legal bike and ur on a public street, unless theres signs posted or the enternce is blocked.he said unlike with an offroad non street legal bike.any were u ride it thats public land ur breaking the law.he told me that with dualsport bikes there hands r prety much tied..he also said, that its veryyy unlikely that the state will put a no trespassing sign in mile after mile of public land & enforce it & that they certainly dont have the man power or funding 2 have an fcw truck parked in every trail or mile of public land.he told me just stay out of  (the hot zones)dont ride were its a none riding area, cuse LE patrols it.he told that (the hot zones) right now is anything south of  nw 41street all the way to cardsound.
