750 brute force siezed? -.-

i have a 2005 kawasaki brute force 750 the bike got wet i changed the oil and all and it was fine took it out riding and it ran for about 5 hours and made clink clunck sound and shut off then wont turn over? i am EXTREMELY annoyed. anyone have any ideas of what it could be and how to fix it?

Brute's are noted for seizing up after they get water in the motor. Google some Kawi forms join up read the post about it .Might find someone with a fix, good luck.

Tough situation. Unfortunately, you may have tweaked the crank when bearings(bathed by diluted, milky oil) overheated while you attempted to restart engine(before replacing oil). You may find someone to rebuild your top end, relatively cheap. However, if they do not adequately-inspect for crankshaft damage, you'll only be buying time before you ultimately hear the clunk that finishes-off your crank. Been there, done that! Frankly, I'd cut my loss, part it out and apply those dollars towards another bike. Paying for a complete engine rebuild on an 8-yr. machine will cost as much or more than the current book value of that particular bike.
