Any new updates on the centennial trail?  We were supposed to ride yesterday but the storm had us staying home (just in case). Hope to get out there soon

I was hoping to get out there on Labor Day weekend, most likely Saturday AM.  Nothing on my schedule that would stop me but I do not want to ride alone.

This is a little off topic with the Centennial trail but what about this Salt Springs Connector Trail.  Im going to Salt Springs Camp Ground over Thanksgiving and was wondering does it go into the campground or ??.  Any info would be great. Thanks.

No it dosen't.  It ends in a corral at the corner of 316 & 19. On the north side of 316. I don't recall seeing where anybody has gone around the corral yet either!!!

You can walk out from the salt springs corral across the road to a set of shops and a restaurant. Basically a place you can get a bite after a ride.

Kris how is it going? it has been awhile since I been on this forum. I believe it was back in April According to our last conversation you said that I can just bring a copy of my bill of sales.will be heading there the weekend after Thanksgiving. We are planning on camping either tent or bringing our pop-up camper depending on friends. There is two different camp sites correct? One we can make reservations and the other is first come first serve correct.

I'm headed up there tomorrow from Lakeland. Can I get my trail pass at the Pittman Visitor Center, or do I need to go somewhere else? I'll be coming up 19 from the south.

You guys are awesome.  Thanks for keeping up the forum and answering each other's questions.  It really helps me out, I've been swamped!  Dalem, You met the Hornsby's (Billy and Jane).  They are first time hosts at Big Scrub, but have hosted before on the north end.  Jimmy and Patsy are also there now and will be doing the majority of the trail-raking for the season.  Around December 1st, Roy and Sharon will be back and they will continue to trim out the trail along with corners as they started last year and were able to get about 5 miles done.  All great workers who volunteer their time!  My other areas are coming along great which will give me more time this fall/winter to focus on Big Scrub and the Centennial Trail!
mtbatvrider:   You are still good to come up with what you have!  Big SCrub is reservable at reserveamerica.com or first come first serve (there is almost always plenty of open sites).  Delancy West on the North end is first come first serve, (same availability).  I may also restart this Forum or rename another Centennial 2012/2013 to clean it up and start fresh again.
Again, thank all of you for your input and for visiting and enjoying our trails!
