We went riding just after Christmas to a great ATV off road park just outside Knoxville. This place has over 350 miles of trails from the beginner gravel roads to the most extreme requiring modified ATV's or rock crawlers. Terrain has everything from mud to rocks, creek crossings, extreme angle climbing and spectacular views. We started at about 1000 feet elevation and 50 degrees and wound up at the top at over 400 feet and 30 degrees with snow. There is also a wind farm generator located on top of the mountain. Everyone riding had alot of respect for the environment as well as each other. I would strongly recommend this place for a great adventure. It is located in Oliver Springs Tennessee at Windrock Mountain. Entry fee is $17.00 for all day riding including after dark. The offer discounts for multiple days or a yearly permit.
