use to ride on 8th street and 152nd area (Miami) last year but have not been there in over a year.  Anyone know if it's still okay to ride there.  I saw that bird road area was changed to a street but what about the rest.  Want to go this weekend 10-23 but don't to waste my time if not good to ride.  Any help/comments would be appreciated.

Thanks!

that area is owned by SFWMD and is OFF-LIMITS!!!! to any motorized vehicles!!!  you can be fined for tresspassing and even arrested!!! Cry Cry  it is called the bird drive recharge area. the boudaries are from sw 8stto the north to sw 40st to the south and from 157ave west to krome ave.   Also from sw 40st south that whole area is also patrolled by the FWC cause there is a well field on sw 72st and 172ave.  the whole area is for water retention to regenerate the aquifer.   DONT SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED!!!   If you wanna take your chances, your on your own Wink

Last year I used to ride there regularly and NEVER had a problem.  Does anyone know if anything has changed in the last year?  I realize that it is ride at your own risk but wonder if anyone knows if there have been any actual recent problems or changes.

I appreciate your comments (serious ones)!

Thanks!

Batman in Dade county there is NO LEGAL PLACE TO RIDE A DIRTBIKE OR ATV!!!  unless you are on private property or(florida law says) if you are on an unpaved road, riding under 35 mph during the daytime. I dont recommend you ride at the place you keep talking about!!!    If you get hassled or cited and or arrested.  I TOLD YOU SO!!!!
