Hey i finally got a bike again. its been a couple of years since i sold mine. well heres my problem. the eyelet on the crank case i cant see any oil. do i need specific oil to put in there or is there a type of motor oil to put in there? my brother used to own the bike and he said when there was oil in there it was kinda milkie colored. so what does that mean and is there any diagram anywhere on line to show step bye step how to fix it . thanks a bunch in advance.

ok the oil looks milky then water has gotton in the gear box first drain the oil and then you can put some 20w50 motor in it then ride it around and see if it gets milky again if it dose not your in good shap if it dose then you have problem and the motor will have to come apart

If the motor has never been apart some rebuilding might be needed. If you just want to take care of the immediate problem, the impeller seal sounds like it went bad, backing up coolant into the crankcase. Kind of difficult to diagnose on the computer, but that is a problem I've encountered on my dirtbikes. I'm not 100% percent sure if your bike requires the cases to be split. When money is tight I like to start with the simple fixes first.  Wink
