Well I'm all ready to go, so I'll be there. I am hoping there will be enough quads to have a class. If so, It should be alot of fun.

Good Evening Gentlemen
Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend the rescheduled race. My wife and I leave early Sunday morning for vacation and since my wife just gave up her beautiful second car....so I could buy a truck, It is in my best interest to not jeopardize the vacation.

or......you could just call me WHIPPED!!!!!!!!.....but if you do.....call me PROUD!!!!!!  Smiley

I'm right there with you Ward. I was going to try and pull off racing this weekend but Friday is my Wife's birthday and she is on duty(firefighter). So she wants to do something on Saturday  Bonk I don't think it will go over to well if I take her to Jasper, I will not push that envelope. About 8 years ago I took her to one of my hare-srcambles on our anniversary and that went over like a ton of bricks. Thats how I got my racing number 421, our wedding anniversary April 21st so I will never forget.

And she thinks she has me trained HA HA Ha!   Oh crap! I got to go, my wife is calling me Shocked....lol

If I can get my rmz450 sold, then I can sneak the 250r honda into my arsenal of toys. It's race ready and by no means is it stock Wink I love my 450 4-strokes but I don't feel like spending all that money on motor work, been there done that.  I'll leave my 450 reliable for the 30plus class.
I only got to take four laps on my banshee before I realized the radiator was stopped up, but I must admit that I was very impressed with its power. I was told this Honda would eat my banshee alive, so that only means one thing....I got to have it......mo power Evil  You will see it the track as soon as I find a buyer for my rmz.
Of course, I could always drop a big a*s 2-stroke in my kfx450 chassis. Now that would be cool Wink     I think I'm going to need a bigger garage. Not for my toys but for me to live in when my wifes kicks me out for starting another project.  Bonk

So you are racing in the 30 plus class too. I thought about running that class this year and hope that there are enough people to have a vet class. Are you going to run the 30+ on the 450 saturday if you make it?

I know for sure that I will not make it to Jasper this weekend but I will be at Thunderbowl. I would love to run two classes, but for now I will just run in the 30+. It also depends on how many of us show up. I'm not really worried about points, just want to race and have some fun with you guys. But I will keep the extra $15 on me for the entree fee just in case  Wink Also my son will be running two classes this season(peewee quad A, peewee motorcycle) that alone will keep me busy. A good busy though.
The way its sounding so far is that everyone will be riding open quads and I'm excited to hear that. I feel its going to be a great season. You know what they say..."A bad start leads to a good ending".    And on that note, I really need to get that honda soon.

Tempting, but I got my heart set on this Honda.    Even though I am a big KTM fan....... OK, I got to get off of this forum and get some things done today. All this 2-smoke talk is making me light headed..... Wacko

I remember it was hard to just hang onto that bike around thunderbowl that day. Plus steve's plastic wasn't secured like it should and I thought it was gonna fly off.

I burned up all 4 of his tires in only 4 laps of qualifying for Ray(flagman back then)...Sorry about the tires Steve, but man it was cool when Ray said that was the fastest quad ever recorded around the track.... Cool

If I had the cash I'd have that bike or the LT250/500R hybrid that he(Steve) sold a couple years back. Both of those bikes were the next step up from a 350R.

You will love the 370 once you get it dialed, it will be interesting to see how my 350 (really a 339) can match up to it. I look forward to it.

Oops! I forgot again. Sorry Ward, just way to much going on lately. Wacko

   Personal History:
Well it started way back on a picture perfect beautiful, sunny day in Florida. It was one of those days that could be on a post card in small little gift shop along a white sandy beach as the sun dances off the waves. It was just cool enough for light yet warm jacket, which is normal during the mid month of January. But little did the folks who resided in the busy city of Tampa know that they would be given such a precious gift that day. A precious gift in the form of a nine pound ten ounce baby boy, whose name was chosen to be William Scott Gulley. A name that echoed with such greatnest. A name that all would know and fear to be matched up against on any clay or limerock oval.  A legend some would say, a natural to say the least.

From such a young age it was clear that this young boy was given a gift. A gift to drive a wheeled vehicle into a dirt corner with such ease and unmatched speed, that some would say he looked like an earth bound angel flying around the track. An angel to some, but an arch angel to others. An arch angel with such speed and grace as if removing and destroying all evil and darkness which laid in his way. The competition all knew that it was hopeless to even try to match his speed and ability. That all would just sit and watch with such great amazment, hoping to just be blessed to have one small spect of red clay thrown upon them from his being. A blessing some and all would long to experience and tresure for a lifetime.   Approve

You know all of you are laughing your  Moon off right now    Because I know I am! Got to go for now.......If any one wants an autographed copy of this, I will be doing a signing at Thunderbowl on Feb. 20th.

Ward, I get the real info soon Grin
