I just kinda needed to say this here. I might be alone in this thought but I think Brett Favre is getting a load of crap he does not deserve from the Green Bay fans. I mean you are talking about a guy that came there and won them a super bowl. He gave what like 17 years of his sweat, blood and tears to them. Probably made them more money then they could have ever paid him in any contract. Then, to top it all off they ran him out of there. THEY ran HIM off! Its not like he woke up one morning and picked up the phone and was like hey guys see you later im going to go play for our arch rivals. They flat out said sorry brett we dont want you around here anymore. So I guess he was just supposted to retire and go away forever to hang out on his ranch every day and move hay bails for the rest of his life. I mean does it somehow make him a bad person for wanting to still play. Also, why does it matter that he is playing for minnesota? He is a great fit there. So what if they are your rivals. That in no way gives you any right to boo and hiss at the guy that actually made your franchise relevant again.

I dont know, it just seems like its a total pile of crap that he gets when he did nothing wrong. Im glad he beat the stew out of them. Put up I think 4 TD passes. I kinda got off his bandwagon for bit during that retired then not fiasco but now that he is settled im glad he is going well. Anyway anyone feel different about this? Agree? Id love to hear some thoughts about this.

Enjoyed the hell out it! The only thing in his way to another Super Bowl is the Saints.

I disagree.  No person is bigger than the team.  If I remember correctly, Favre waited till after the draft to announce he was retiring then he waits till right before the season starts after the Packers already told Rodgers that he was the man and would be starting, that he wanted to keep playing?  That's BS, what are the packers to do, I mean Favre had already been waffling between retiring and playing for a year or so already, that was not fair to the team or to Rodgers or to the organization.  The packers then offer Favre around 20 million not to play, that has to tell you that they were ready to move on.

Favre goes to the Jets, gets the coach fired after 1 year and retires again?  Give me a break, I lost any respect for him after that and now he wants to go and play in Minnesota to get revenge on his old team, well good luck to him and I will watch him play when I can and hope he gets SLOBERKNOCKERD.

*Sigh*  Can we agree on anything?

I dont remember all that exaticly. All I know is the guy worked his ass off for 17 years for them and all he gets is boos? Some of the fans they talked to said that they threw away his packer stuff. Just seems wrong to me. I dont think you can blame him for getting NY's coach fired. Coaches get fired all the time. I bet jacksonvilles del rio is gone at the end of this year.

It is not that they let him go, its how they did it. They didnt have enuff balls to tell him, they just cancelled his card key from all the locks in the facility. He realized they let him go when he went there and his card would not open the door.
That is chicken shizzz if you ask me.
I am glad he is playing in Minnesota and I am very glad he swept their sorry cheesehead azzes this year. As for the Saints, Minnesota has a pretty good Defense and A.P.
