Date is going to be the 24th of April 2010

Here is some general information about the Ultimate ATV Multiple Style Team Relay Race.

Gates open on Friday at 5pm. There will be no riding until Saturday. Camping is primitive and free for all those wishing to camp Friday night.

Registration will be between 6pm & 8pm Friday evening and from 7am-race time on the morning of the race.

You will need 1~3 riders, we are going to have an MX section, a XC section and a mud section.

The exact format has still to be fine tuned, but will be along the lines of your MX rider doing 5 laps of the big national mx track then passing a baton to a xc rider who does lap of the xc trails, he passes the baton to an mud rider, who takes it through the swamp, he comes out the other side, hands it back to the xc rider who completes the xc trail, hands it back to the mud rider who takes it through some of the pits, before giving it back to the mx rider who will then put in another 5 laps.

Race would take teams of 1~3 riders per team.

Race fee will be $100 per team.

Gate fee is $5.00 for everyone over 5 years old (except annual pass holder, they do not pay gate fee).

it was nice on tractor tires but was very limited on what i could ride,   i would rather be able to ride trails and everything else since i only have 1 atv now

Paul, the xc guys and the mud guys will get way more ride time than the mx guys so i was wondering a couple of things

#1. I feel that the mx guys should get a 20 min practice session in the morning to get familiar with the track. It is a very big track with large jumps and you dont want anyone to get hurt and  a few laps of practice will greatly decrease the chances.SO IS THIS POSSIBLE?
#2. To help entice some of floridas best MX talent to make the trip up would it be possible that after the race is over that they can have open practice for the remainder of the day? IS THIS POSSIBLE?

The reality is the MX guys will only get at most 20 min of ride time and that is a long drive for 20 min, im just saying. You know i will help groom if for you too.

I could figure out a way for them to run 3 20 minute moto's.

Track could easily be open for practice before and after.
