We, my two brothers and I, are from The Netherlands. And we are visiting Florida (Tampa and Orlando) in December 2009.
The Netherlands is a very small and crowded country in Europa and there are no places where driving quads or ATVs is allowed.
So we hope to make some (guided)tours in Florida. Tips where to go are more then welcome !!!!

PS sorry for my bad English......

Ha, ha. Now a days the Dyke's are firm and strong. I hope....my house is on top of a Dyke.

I'm not sure which dates we are flying. But yes, we will be flying from Schiphol/Amsterdam.
I told my brothers about your reply and they are looking forward to meet some mudneck duds !!
Would be our first time Smiley

Something else; one of my brothers bought and shipped two Chevy pickup's (57 and 59) from the us last year.
And he needs several parts for both cars. Do you know if there are junk/salvage yards in the Orlando or Tampa area ??

I dont know if your going to find 50's stuff in a Junk yard. You may have to look on line for The classic car trader or something of that sort. Let us know the dates. Can you bring over some Mazi-pahn?

I think you mean marsepein ?? In Germany they call it marzipan.
It's very, very sweet. Mostly eaten during the december holidays (sinterklaas en kerst).
They make the sweet is all kind of funny shapes and forms.

Thanks. I just saw the pictures. And I think they are taking in Belgium. There are several ATV areas and trails in Belgium. Heesch is in the southern part of The Netherlands near the Belgium border.

And Belgium nature is much wilder then ours. The Netherlands is almost completely flat. Our highest mountain is 322 mtrs.

These guys sound like fun to me! We need to definitely get them all taken care of when they come into town. I've got a spare bike I'd bring to an event when they are here. Anyone else?

Let's all show them some real American hospitality from ATVFlorida.com.

At first you scared me; I crush stupid people !!!  Shocked
But you are a real mudneck dud I think. And those are OK I learned in the meantime.

Let me introduce us. There is Berrie, my oldest brother (he is in his fifty's) he is a motor mechanic and Erik, my twin brother (we are in our forty's). My brothers love anything with a motor. And all three of us love the USA.
Berrie has a 73 Cadillac Eldorado. And Erik has two late fifty's Chevy pickup trucks. Once every two/three years we tell our partners we have to go to the USA because we can not find several parts on line  Wink.

The guys just bring me (sister, my name is Gerda), so they can sit back, relax and drink their beers while I drive them around. Well as long they carry my luggage and my shopping bags I don't mind.

I'm not sure yet about our travel dates. But when we come we really like to meet you. And of course I bring some marsepein for Bushwhacker.

Berrie can hang out with Anoriginal I think hes almost the same age. They can go out for the all you can eat seniors buffet.

My parent actually just got back from Bremen last week, They brought me some chocolate but no marzipan. Let us know when you come out & we will see if you can meet up & at least go for a day ride. I have a camp set up south of Orlando or maybe meet at the events. Make sure you start practicing early enough with Captain Morgain and I'm sure the Bud light beer wont be a problem for you.

I do my best. For your information "vollmilch chocolade" is from Germany. But maybe it's sold in The Netherlands as well.

Something dutch......, let me think......maybe some wooden shoes.
Now I know you like sweets (chocolade en marsepijn) I will also bring you stroopwafels (dutch cookies).
And my brothers can carry the Heineken beers in and out the plane. No problem Smiley

We arr DEC 7 at Orlando airport. First we travel around and hope to find the missing parts for my brothers Chevy pickup truck.
From DEC 10 till DEC 14 we stay at The Celebration Suites at Old Town.

When we arrive at Kissimmee we will let you know and we can exchange cell numbers.
We are really looking forward to meet you.
