Good Evening
First, I would like to mention first that on Monday we received information from Adam Veiths wife (Laura), that Adam is doing well and will be ok. Adam still had a headache and was very sore but that she should be able to patch him up and be at the races soon. For that report we were very grateful.
Second, as always, I want to THANK all the racers and fans that showed up and made a challenging evening a GREAT success. We had a total of 53 race entries which is AWESOME.
Third – We are introducing an “Intermediate Class” which is for riders advancing from “Amateur Class” but not quite ready to mix it up with the Fast Experts. Intermediate Class may still be combined (due to number of riders) with either Amateurs and/or Experts but will be scored separately. The introduction of this new class is due to increasing numbers of riders. Amateur & Vintage are the leading growth classes to date……but…..VINTAGE STILL RULES!!!!
Fourth – I sent out an e mail to all my Vintage friends regarding a split possibility in Vintage Class. I only received 3 replies back which is very sad since at the races…..everyone seems to have an opinion on the subject. So after this e mail blast, I will send out another request…..and cuss all my vintage friends out…..since I won t be copying our track pastor on that e mail.
Fifth – We have two race dates confirmed. October 17th at Sumter County Motorsports Park and November 7th at Cross Roads Motorplex in Jasper, Florida. Exact starting times still have to be determined before posting. We are also talking to another “new” location to add to our series after the above race dates…..so stay tuned….more to come on this
Sixth – We are starting construction of the new website. Shawn, Ray & myself are not webmasters but are determined to build a great site that we are confident you will enjoy. So please be patient on this subject.
Now I want so share some trivia that Shawn pulled together from sign up...... Average Ages.
