Camping at Croom

I have heard that the riding begins EARLY at Croom in the morning...however, the phone number on their website says the place doesn't open until 8:00AM. Can I not get in until then? Or do you have to camp there the night before to start riding early?

I never knew croom didnt open til 8am i usually get there around 7am and im not the first one there. I'm guessing they have a ranger there by sunup. (never been there before sunup, so i wouldnt kno if there is one there before then)
never camped there before, but usually most people camping are up by sunup

I called the State Park number...perhaps that is the time when the National Park over there opens. So I guess its sun-up.

yea, maybe the A.M. 8:00 opening time was for the front store or something???
