Merry Christmas from all of us at Thunderbowl Speedway.

Our Christmas present to you guys is that we will be having a free open practice on the Saturday after Christmas, 12/27. We will be open from 10 am - 5pm. Maybe later, who knows??? There is no charge, just show up and ride.

If you want to dial in your bike before the next season starts in January, escape from your in-laws, or just get out of the house and ride, come on out and hang out.

Thanks
Brady

Merry Christmas one and all! May your Christmas dinner have all the fixin's done just right and you don't eat too many desserts!

Well, How many people plan to show tomorrow? We'll be going to ride and test whatever will stay together! Wink Plus, I wanted to see what Brady or Dugan's cooking is like! Grin And, there could be some tall tales along with some serious bench racing. Hope to see y'all there!

Our cooking is the best there is! Anybody who thinks they can out-cook me and Brady can just step up and bring it! We're going to have a BBQ cook-off next year sometime, so if anyone is interested in participating let us know.

It was a great day. The weather was awesome. We had a lot of good people show up and we got to just hang out, ride, tell a few lies, and eat a little bit. We even had a few races break out. LOL

Got to see Kohlers daughter Autumn who had the bad get off a few weeks ago. Even with her injuries she was all smiles. She really is an awesome little lady.

Thanks for coming out. We'll definately have do it again.

I would like to say thanks to the Thunder Bowl crew for having us out on Saterday. It was a blast. Needless to say I am a little sore today from all the riding. The cooking was great. And we could not of asked for better weather.

To say it was just a good day would be an understatement. The track was in good shape (I'll bet Brady had something to do with it!) and was great for even newbies like me! My eldest boy Eric, is really coming along on the bikes (may loose my photographer lol)! I learned some new things to try to take it to Ward and Ron (squeezer). Will have to wait till the new season starts.
Like Brady said, it was good to be out there and bench race and turn some laps. The venison was first rate (who cooked?) and had plenty to feed the masses! lol I wonder what a cook off might be like!
For those of you that couldn't break away, you missed a good time. The impromptu races were as good or better than what happens on a sanctioned night.
That guy that does the SDTA stuff, is he real or a computer generated personality that works the website? I thought for sure we'd see a real person! lol Smiley
Brady and Dugan deserve our gratitude and some showering of praise (still want to know who I may have to cook against) for what they have done to keep the track and competitors coming back. I, for one, will do what I can to help and keep things going so we have someplace to race and enjoy the friendships that have been made here.
Thanks for a great racing season and to a great next season.
You have my support.
Richard.

Vintage Class was represented well. Wish I had brought my bike.

Hey Squeezer. Hope you heal up well and soon. Not sure if I am buying the 10 speed and the pothole story. Wink I would have came up with something a little more heroic or brave sounding. When you going to drive your Hudson Pimp ride to the track or the full blown monstor. Both cool rides.

Thanks to Ben, (I think it was Ben?) Rick won t have to trim turn 3 & 4 much this week. Hope he didn t get too bruised up on the lay down too

Ward, That was Eric that took the ride through the weeds. I thought he was trying to be a trials riders as he climbed the fence about half-way up it. He also was the one that took a good look at the exit of 2! Bruised ego is all. A good day though.
We'll have to watch that Dugan character since he let that guy out there with shorts on and tennis shoes. Besides that being a Yamaha, it was a 2-smoke. Fickle pieces of machinery, but then again, I've seen Kawasukee's do the same thing! Grin

The Yamaha being pushed was a 4 stroke.

Kawasaki's don't break down. They may take a break and rest for the next race, but they don't break down.  Grin

Yes that Dugan character is obviously a slacker not paying attention to things.

It's a first where the quad actually goes with me. Usually the quad stops and I go flying. LOL

No air for me for awhile. Local quad rider Jon Cabana beat me up and hurt my back so I'm unable to ride for awhile. I was just minding my business when he jumped me. He's a dang little bully I tell ya. I begged for mercy and he still put a beatin' on me. I've always known those quad guys were trouble..... Grin

Is Cabana for Hire? Could use him to put a hit on Ayscue.

 Jeff, Merrit and Tonya,
You guys missed a good time last weekend. The track was in nice shape and the venison was smoked to near perfection (as close to that as heavy equipment operators can do it).  Grin
Dugan and Brady went out of their way to make it a great day. I think they even bribed the weather trolls for a nice day.
Brady was out bench racing and stretching the facts a bit or so some say! lol There were half a dozen bikes out there, mostly the vintage guys (us).
Now if we can prod Brady and that Dave guy (hillkiller) to give up a series schedule, we can set our sights on the new year! lol
Richard.

The schedules are in the works. We talked about it today. He'll probably post some of the T-bowl scedule tonight. I think the SDTA schedule is still in the works. From what I understand it should be done soon also.
Thats what I know.

Looking forward to the new season.
