There's lots of people to thank. Probably more than I can remember.
*Dave Ware for a lot the SDTA stuff. He does a lot behind the scenes that people don't see. I'm really just the pretty faced frontman.
* Ward Jones & Shawn McNary for their tireless efforts to keep the motorcycle racers organized. The motorcycle numbers are directly due to their efforts.
* Richard Czarniak- for his flyers. He does them week in and week out at no cost.
* The Thunderbowl Speedway staff- Teddy Morrison, Liz Dugan, Jennifer Morrison, and especially Rick Dugan. These folks have helped me more than you can imagine.
* The tracks such as Jasper, Ocala Speedway, Sumter, and Auburndale for allowing us to race. These places allow us to race, even though the profit margins are small or even non existent for them when we race there.
* Glenn at Hard Rock for helping me out when I was in a bad situation.
* Random volunteers such as Brad who did the starting lineups all year. This guy lives in Naples and drove to every race to help out (for free no less) because he loves racing, or like Wayne Palmer and his son Justin and others who will flag a corner, work the grid, or do whatever it takes to help a race run smooth.
* Guys like Len & Dare Rambo and Randy & Travis Edwards who donated their time and even brought equipment from Naples to help rebuild and prep Thunderbowl when it re-opened.
* And most importantly, all the racers. Because without racers none of this would be possible.
2008 was a hard year for several reasons, but 2009 should be bigger and better.
